At a Democratic leaders press conference on Thursday, Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said that House Republicans are too “afraid of the Tea Party” to pass immigration reform, adding that the reality is that the Tea Party’s power has already “peaked.”
The New York Democrat and longtime immigration reform supporter said that House Republicans are led by false anti-amnesty rhetoric from Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, and conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh. Schumer noted that recently ousted House Majority Leader Eric Cantor is the only member of Congress that the “minority” Tea Party voters were able to remove from office.

Libs always give away who or what they’re afraid of by constantly talking about and denigrating them. The Tea Party, talk radio, and the Koch Brothers. The liberals are sitting ducks. If we had a conservative Republican Party with some guts the Democratic Party could be smashed into a million pieces and they would be the ones on the verge of political extinction.
Schumer is hitting the panic button. Those amnesty is dead.

I think the democrats and republicans have joined to battle the tea party. Republicans don’t care if they beat democrats but the do care about beating tea party candidate. that’s why I quit them

I guess he is referring to the runoff in Mississippi, where the Dems had to spend millions, flood the Republican primary runoff, play the race card, lie, and break the law in order to win. Why did the GOPe have to do that if our power had peaked and we were on the way down?
They just proved by these unprecedented dirty tricks that there is much more to come.
