MS Radio Ad: Tea Party Will 'Take Away' Food Stamps, Black University Funding
Breitbart ^ | June 27, 2014 | Katie McHugh

Posted on 06/28/2014 5:04:30 AM PDT by don-o

A Mississippi radio station aired an ad warning voters that the Tea Party would “take away” food stamps and other welfare benefits before the run-off between incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran and his challenger, Chris McDaniel.

Calling the run-off the most important election since the re-election of President Barack Obama, the WMGO radio station ordered listeners in Madison County to vote for Cochran the day of the run off. The ad appeared to target black voters.

“By not voting, you’re saying, ‘Take away all of my government programs, such as food stamps, early breakfast and lunch programs, millions of dollars to our black universities,” the ad said, voiced by an African American woman.

“Everything we and our families depend on that comes from Washington will be cut. Mississippi will never be the same. The question is, will you spend five dollars on gas to vote -- or allow the Tea Party to send us back to the good old bad days?

WOW!

Just WOW!

Uniparty Ping.

This is a Primary, the GOPer would still have to go against the Democrat. This is nothing but pure fear mongering.

So we have one party for Goulash Communism and the other is for East German 5 year plans.

Lovely

That is off topic. Perhaps you need to make a thread to discuss deportation of black Americans. Somehow, I doubt it would last long.

Here is racism at it's finest. Does anybody see how Cochran took the stereotypical perception of the Southern white man concerning Blacks and used it to his advantage. Unfortunately the tactic and the perception worked. The perception that Blacks are ignorant, dumb, uninformed, lazy, and plain stupid was used to feed false information about MacDaniel and what he would do to Blacks if he were elected. They fell for it, never realizing that they were being used by the white man...so much for Black discernment of racism. This obviously was racism at it's finest.

Do democrats/progressives believe that without Washington DC, blacks could not survive in this world???

Just who are the actual racists???

Not even McDaniel would be likely to make a dent in the foodstamp issue. That is now as sacred a cow as Social Security.

OK, I used the wrong wording. It should have said “I wish that they would go back to their home countries”.
I did not imply that they should be forceably sent back.
I certainly did not imply deportation, but I think you knew that.

Sure a lot of self segregation there. How many black people will walk into a “white church”?

A handful of intrepid souls will (God bless them) but unless circumstances are special (e.g. a sister-church arrangement between a black and a white church) this is not easy.

I would like Blacks on the left to explain why Lyndon B. Johnson was incorrect when he made the statement, “I’ll have those N——— voting Democrat for the next 200 years.” It seems to me he was correct. Why can’t they see that? Was he racist? It certainly seems so. Force them to defend his statement. I know there are many blacks that do “get it” and are conservative and hate what is happening - unfortunately, there’s not enough of them. Maybe some day but it seems to give new meaning to the term “slow learner”.

I'm totally disgusted, so much so that I no longer want a Republican majority in the US Senate. Putting the likes of McCain, Cochran, MdDonnell, Ayotte, Flake, Collins etc etc as the majority of anything scares me.

But you know what? Constitutional conservatives have to tell it like it is. Abortion is racial genocide of black people. They're being replaced by hispanics whether it be legally or legally. McDaniels and other conservatives would have no trouble explaining to blacks that immigration and illegal residents are taking away their jobs and opportunities. In Mississippi they could ask how much repair work after the hurricane was done by foreign labor. I wonder if conservatives couldn't get blacks to oppose the invasion of the US.

Unless they're just Chamber of Commerce types faking conservatism.

The shoe will soon be on the other foot.

The democrats will use these very same tactics AGAINST Thad Cochran in the general election. Using Cochran’s name instead of McDaniel’s name, the same flyers and radio ads will probably even be used.

Let’s see how he likes it then.

Ironic isn’t it - that their relatives who actually lived in slavery fought so hard to be freed - only to have their descendants stay on the plantation taking handouts from their white masters and screaming racism and equality?

This was absolute, flat-out election fraud, even if it was technically legal. I think what McDaniel should do (since he’s a state senator) is start working to draw attention to it and to attempt to get MS to go to a closed primary system. Only GOP voters should have been voting in a GOP run-off, and none of this would have happened.

Winning elections by getting more votes is one thing, and I agree that people who consider themselves conservative have to learn to work together a little better and build up broader support. But when there’s fraud and manipulation on this level, nothing is going to help. So the challenge is to use the next two years leading up to the 2016 elections to try to seal off as many entrances for Rat fraud as possible.
