House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco) said she isn't hopeful that immigration reform will pass after she visited a Border Patrol facility in Brownsville, Texas, on Saturday.
“The humanitarian crisis unfolding across our nation’s southern border demands Congress come together and find thoughtful, compassionate and bipartisan solutions,” Pelosi said at a televised news conference after the tour. “We must also work to address the root causes of the problem.”
Pelosi said the U.S. needs to turn this crisis into an "opportunity to show who we are as Americans."
“The fact is these are children, children and families,” Pelosi said. “We have a moral responsibility to address this in a dignified way."

Since they are coming in by the train loads, with government at the wheel and escorting them, why bother with immigration reform?
All they are going to do is make them all legal until the next 30 million enter illegally. They call this “immigration reform”...lol
Soon they’ll have a country full of low wage workers, who don’t complain, who don’t question government, are easily led and appeased by minimum handouts and wages.
Much less concern and easily controllable for the elite ruling class.

She’s bullshitting. This is what immigration reform looks like to “progressives.”
The only thing broken about our immigration system as far as border control goes is the lack of will by a long series of presidents, senators and congressmen (and congress-witches) to enforce the laws designed to protect the nation and citizens from this slow motion invasion across the Mexican border.
