I think headlines are generally better if there is a 12-word limit.

Don't read the DailyMailOnline, then. Whole-paragraph headlines, 25 to 35 words, in almost unitelligible English -- and this from the home of English. Maybe they get their headlines done in China.

Ummmm, I was being really flippant. Look at the headline and see how it would read if it were only 12 words. :)
