Imagine if in America there were a coal mining magnate as famous as Donald Trump who was the founder of a political party named after himself (Trump United Party?). In addition, this well known person would be strongly opposed to a carbon tax. Obviously such a person would be considered an enemy by environmentalists. Well, think of the shock if none other than Al Gore held a friendly joint press conference with such a person. Many would suspect that money was the motive for such a strange alliance.
Guess what? Something like this happened last week in Australia where Al Gore appeared with Australian mining magnate Clive Palmer at a press conference. Although Palmer, a founder of the Palmer United Party in Australia, opposed the recently abolished carbon tax, Al Gore suddenly and mysteriously found common ground with him. Naturally the Australian press found Gore's new-found friendship quite suspicious. First we have a report from Annabel Crabb of The Age in Australia at the shock of the people there at seeing Gore and Palmer together on stage:

But I’m always reminded of how “with it” this clown is when I recall my visit to Monticello when I retraced the steps of the brilliant Algore who, during the Clinton/Gore bus trip to Washington for their inauguration following their 1992 election “win”.
Their stop at Monticello was televised by the same leftist in the tank media that gave us Obama. Gore and a tour guide stood on one side of a short partition wall graced with a portrait of Jeffferson. They walked around to the other side and briefly admired another painting. They then returned to the FIRST side holding Jefferson’s portrait at which point Gore asked “AND WHO IS THIS FELLOW?”
As bad as klintoon was, it’s frightening to think that this genius was a heartbeat from the Oval Office.
And what ticks me off about that moron is HE tried to steal the election from Bush but the media turned it around and made it like Bush stole it. Gore had Jesse Jackson come down to Florida and hold a fake protest claiming that blacks were being turned away at the polls, but it was all BS. Then trying to get overseas ballots disqualified then trying to get felons the right to vote, then trying to get blank chads to count for him. That putz tried everything he possibly could to steal the election but he was prevented from doing it. Like my brother says: If Gore became POTUS right now we could be digging through the ashes of Armageddon . They would have been hitting us with nukes next while that d-bag would be focusing on “climate change”
