Advertisers Come Out Of The Closet, Openly Courting Gay Consumers
NPR ^ | 6/29/14 | Sonari Glinton

A recent Chevrolet ad made its LGBT-friendly message clear: Against a montage of different families, including single and same-sex parents, a voice-over intones, "While what it means to be family hasn't changed, what a family looks like has."

If they want to gear ads to two percent of the population while the other 98% decide to not patronize that particular business is fine with me.

They are doing these ads to prove how liberal they are.

They are afraid of getting the Chick Fil A treatment. So they are bending over backwards to prove they are liberal and honor homosexuality.

And then gay staffers in newsrooms report this as “braking” news.

“So they are bending over backwards to prove they are liberal and honor homosexuality.”

Fine with me. If they want to cave to the gay agenda, then they can kiss off any future business from those of us who still honor traditional marriage.

It won’t be long until Ford or Dodge counters with some ads that celebrate sexy babes and testosterone, I’m guessing.

I know that’s an irony of the Chick Fil A situation, that sales there actually increased, and Chick Fil A appreciation day was a great success.

Yet, due to the liberal bias of this culture and the media, the name of Chick Fil A is mud among the liberal types. Even though the controversy appears not to have hurt Chick Fil A, companies still fear being targeted by homosexual activists.

Right there they are proving that they are willing to pander to any any all groups, no matter how small or objectionable to the dominate Christian and conservative community.

Notice, that they never do aim ads towards Christian Conservatives.

General Motors lives and dies with their truck sales, as that is where the profit margins are. Gay doesn't sell trucks.

Targetting advertising to Gays is poorly thought out and most likely driven by Washington.

We’re GM and we’re right behind you (Ben Dover).

You are quite wrong about the 2% vs. 98%. It’s not that simple.

The central message of “gay liberation” is. “F*** who you want, when, where, and how you want, and if there are consequences, make sure someone else pays”.

The success of the gay rights movement is because of the popularity of this message among heterosexuals.

So, it’s not 2 vs 98. It’s more like 50-50.

It’s an unhealthy abuse of love capacity, an abuse which is more accurately termed lust.

There are many issues involved. Homosexual attraction is a complex evil; it requires a number of things to go wrong before it happens. Roman Catholic teaching puts it rather politely as “intrinsically disordered.” That’s one aspect of the problem. But another aspect is that Satan is busy working to “punk” these people and, through them, the larger society.

American Christendom of all stripes needs to get back into its Ephesians 6 armor if it hopes to fight this evil off. Talking about it being intrinsically disordered is like saying your problem is bullet holes. Well yes, but what do you do about the shooters?

I sure seem to see a lot of pickups in urban neighborhoods being driven by gay/lesbian types. Maybe it is just a Midwestern thing.

BTW, Hyundai/Kia, Porsche and the late Suzuki are seen as the most unfriendly to homos.

Yet another example of

Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Mark = character/reputation (a person is "marked" by his behavior, beliefs, attitudes, ethics)
Name = character/reputation (having a good name or a bad name is based upon one's behavior, beliefs, attitudes, ethics)
Number = character/reputation (to have a person's "number" is idiomatic of discerning character, typically in a negative sense.. to "dial in" to that character through awareness of behavior, beliefs, attitudes, ethics)

Pretty soon all merchants - in order to keep selling - will embrace and promote sodomy, or else they'll be put out of business just as the wedding cake bakers were. Now that government has been handed the illegitimate power to redefine reality, woe to those who reject the lies from beast.gov's mouth.

It will become increasingly difficult/impossible to buy anything without making the same covenant with death and agreement with hell. The "haters" will be shut out or imprisoned. Or fired. Or audited to death. Can't buy a whole lot without an income, or if assets are frozen.

Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Revelation 12:15-17

15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Flood = lies
the commandments of God and testimony of Jesus Christ = truth

This goes beyond religious affiliation because it is more broadly a description of those who hold to the truth.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

By me = by the truth. What various religious entities define as truth and true doctrine is another matter, but whoever the real Jesus is, he is synonymous with truth and life.

Truth = reality. Fedzilla and its supporters despise truth and are attempting to create a new reality out of lies, and demand that we embrace lies. That's not the way that leads to life.

Gay Pride parade in Houston yesterday was covered wall-to-wall by all the local news stations. According to them, some 400,000 were in attendance led by the gay Democrat Mayor, Denise Porker. Touted as the second largest parade in Houston. Floats and financial support provided by many businesses, probably because they don’t want to be fined for discrimination. One of the young women interviewed on camera said it was so great to see such an expression of love and support.

I know I’m just one person and don’t have a lot of money to spend, but not one dollar of it will ever go to anyone in the city.
