A man has survived being crucified by Isis in Syria, after the jihadists raided his village and nailed him to a cross for eight hours.
But eight others who received the same punishment did not survive. The men, from Deir Hafer in the east of Aleppo province, were subjected to the same treatment and crucified "in the main square of the village, where their bodies will remain for three days", the Britain-based monitor said.
Isis first emerged in Syria's war in late spring last year – and was initially welcomed by some Syrian rebels, who believed its combat experience would help topple Mr Assad.
But subsequent acts of immense brutality quickly turned the Syrian opposition, including Islamists, against Isis.

It appears that these sand fleas haven’t gotten anywhere in a couple of thousand years. In a civilized society, men don’t crucify anymore. After all, what is the purpose except to intimidate the populace. If I belonged to that religion, I’d start questioning.
ISIS seems to have a penchant for old-school punishment. Or maybe they’re just assholes.

Here is the deal now the Obama admin will be able to identify a “moderate” group to arm, then the SOBs will just turn around and give the weapons to people like this, what a scam.
ISIS seems to be overplaying their hand. I hope that real strange coalition that’s threatened, including Jordan and Israel, and lots of normal enemies get it together and annihilate ISIS before they get any further. Looking at a map, ISIS can be encircled, but only if things turn around and it’s accepted Assad is part of the solution.
I don't think Barry has the same goal as the American people.

Anybody who thinks this is a “sectarian conflict” (Sunnis vs Shias) is drinking purple drank. This is a unified Islamic attempt to rebuild a trans-sect and trans-national caliphate.
Anybody who doesn’t go along with this, or has even had a history of working for a secular civil government, should either start running now or kiss their behinds goodbye.
Obama is supporting ISIS, for reasons that I cannot understand. Does he think he’s going to be the first caliph of the new caliphate?

You know... The Islamic State of Baghdad would be bad if all of the like minded would all move to that one place. We could take them all out at one time, unexpectedly, some Ramadan morning and then just call it good.
