FULL TITLE: Comrade DeBlasio Inc. Removed New York “Stop and Frisk” Policy – Last Night At Least 13 Shot In 5 Boroughs

It was a violent night in New York City after at least 13 people were shot in incidents spanning each of the five boroughs.

As CBS 2′s Janelle Burrell reported, one of the shootings happened on Staten Island, where a man is fighting for his life after being shot in the face.

The incident happened at around 3:30 a.m. on Amboy Road in the New Dorp section of Staten Island. Police were still on the scene Sunday morning collecting and processing evidence, including a backpack that belonged to the 42-year-old victim.

[...] Neighbors also said the victim only moved to the area a few months ago with his wife and son.

“It’s a man and his wife and their son. They’re very quiet people. They just moved in not long ago. They’re very nice people,” neighbor Mike told WCBS 880′s Miller.

Mike was just returning home from the night shift, only to find his house was on the part of the street that was sectioned off by police.

The shooting incident is just one of 13 that happened across the city in the last 24 hours, WCBS 880 reported. (read more)

One thing (probably the only thing) you have to give Doomberg credit for is that he didn't dismantle Rudy's policing policies.

The beauty of the Constitution is that it still works when used as intended. If NY hadn’t taken away the God given right to bear arms, there would be very little crime. With very little crime, there would be no need for unconstitutional stop and frisk.

Can't disagree with that...

The reality is NYC isn't ever going to give it's citizens the God given right to defend themselves (legally), so stop and frisk is a about as good as it's going to get...

Comrade DeBlasio will set NYC back forty years in terms of violent crime. Soon enough it will be just like Chicago Nuevo Loredo.

Fixed it for ya.

In the Soviet Union under Stalin, criminals were considered "socially useful deviants" because they helped annihilate any notion of private property and assisted in terrorizing the general population.

What we have in most Dem controlled cities is analogous: Dem politicians are soft on black crime in order to curry favor with black voters (if they actually arrested and prosecuted blacks at the same rate as whites for the same crimes, at least half the black male population would disappear overnight).

The pols and their big contributors live with adequate security, of course. Working class whites and Hispanics are just fair game, and if they are union members their paychecks support the Dem machine whether they like it or not.

Rich white liberals+corrupt black, white and Hispanic politicians+ unions guarantee a one party state no matter how bad the crime rate is or how bad most public services are (look at Chicago).

As middle class whites, blacks and Hispanics leave you get a gentry class and some overpaid public employees lording it over a mass of feral ghetto rats inhabiting ruins, just like Rome around 600AD.

“Do liberals actually LIKE crime? It almost seems like it.”

I think they do. It gives them an excuse to go after guns, champion the poor and ferals because of “gun crime”, and then they can go home and feel good about themselves.

These dirtbags target the old, the weak, and young, a few law abiding CCW citizens will not stop these type of crimes

It works everywhere it has been implemented. Combined with castle doctrine and stand your ground ccw works. More guns less crime.

Perhaps DeBlasio can ask Obama to sign an Executive Order declaring the law of Unintended Consequences null and void.

He should have ended stop and frisk as it is unconstitutional. If they want to solve the problem, they need to obey the Constitution regarding guns. A few law abiding concealed carriers could fix the murder rate.

Absolutely right. The Constitution is the law of the land and serves as a restraint on all men, good and bad. Once we start making exceptions that we believe are justified, we legitimize all other exceptions. Bush took off his shoes to walk over the Constitution with the "Patriot" Act, and now Obama is stomping on it with his boots. There is a reason we takes our oaths to the Constitution and not to any flag or man...

One year, I think it was 1990, there were something like 600 murders in D.C. Of that 600, something like five of them were white—and they were killed by family members.

I suspect the situation in New York is similar. Therefore, de Commio has no need to be concerned, politically.

Wow., You mean to say that since they do not recognise the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution, it's OK for them to go ahead and ignore the rest of it as well.

Just ... wow.

I don’t see the “rest of the constitution” in my comment....

Do you have a reading comprehension issue.....

You are only implying I said that....

Fine. perhaps if you were less ambiguous in your writing we wouldn’t misconstrue your intentions. Do you, or do you not support the stop and frisk policy?

What's ambiguous about that statement...?

Do you, or do you not support the stop and frisk policy?

Well, that depends...if I lived (I wouldn't) in a neighborhood where crime was rampant and out of control and I was not allowed to carry conceal...

I would certainly think "Stop and Frisk" is a damn good idea..

Like I said with no ambiguous "the constitution is not a suicide pact"

Where I live today...I'd sue the ever living crap out of the police dept if they stopped my without warrant...because crime is very low and there are very few problems with thugs...

Is it really that hard to understand? Really...!

“They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

The question is: is your personal safety an "essential liberty" when the government you live under restricts your personal liberty?

OK, we’ll then I’ll have to say that I stand by my initial comment that you took exception to. NYC immorally and unconstitutionally restrict the exercise of the 2nd amendment to the point of its extinction. Because of this, they have extreme issues with crime. So, instead of fixing the problem like any normal and sane individual, i.e., stop unconstitutionally destroying our right to defend ourselves, they double down by further pissing on on the constitution by spitting on the 4th and 5th amendments as well, and you applaud this. I believe the quote attributed to Franklin about security is apropos here.

and you applaud this.

I did ???

Again kindly point out where I even suggested a thing

I happen to live in reality, NYC will never stop it's unconstitutional restrictions on guns, so you are supposing they let crime and mayhem run amuck?

Sort of like Chicago ?
