Sounds good to me.The vets *still* won’t be able to see a cancer specialist but they’ll have all the health & beauty products they need.

Obama friend/campaign donor?

The guy doesn't appear to have any experience operating a health care system. Why can't presidents find qualified people with relevant experience to fill positions?

Humans need not apply.

fatnotlazy:" Why can't presidents find qualified people with relevant experience to fill positions?"

Because they look in all the wrong places , and believe in Cronyism !!
I have never seen so many educated people in one place,
who have no work expierience !

Don’t know a thing about this guy.

I know a few things about him...perhaps the most important of which is that he's never even swept the floor in a hospital, let alone graduated from medical school or managed a hospital. In other words he won't have the first clue on how to stop vets from dying while waiting for an appointment with a cancer specialist or heart surgeon.

"Procter & Gamble Co (PG.N) on Thursday brought back A.G. Lafley to run the world's largest household products maker, replacing Bob McDonald immediately in the midst of a major restructuring." ... Reuters

It appears P&G had to bring back the old CEO to fix the company after Bob McDonald wrecked it.

He’s looks a lot better than I had hoped for from this administration.

West Point grad, started at the bottom at P&G and worked his way up.

Wish him luck..

So he wasn't qualified to produce Scrubbing Bubbles but he's good enough to manage a huge health care system?

At least McDonald is a West Point graduate. I wonder what the connection is to Barack Insane Obama? Obama doesn’t make moves without politics as the first motive.

McDonald was an Army Ranger, 82nd Airborne, West Point grad and spent a career at P&G working his way up, eventually becoming CEO. Quite an accomplishment, though this challenge will be unlike any he’s ever faced. Good luck to you Bob.

In 1985..GE brought in Silas Cathcart, the retired chairman of Illinois Toolworks, to run Kidder, Peabody, the old line Wall Street firm caught up in multiple scandals..when the appointment was announced, a WS exec was quoted anonymously in the WSJ: “That’s just what Kidder needs..a good tool and die man to run the place..”

He donated to this PAC several times, but I can’t really see what they stand for. http://www.bipac.net/pgpac/login.asp?id=&auth=

Here’s on 08 listing of donations by people named Robert McDonald - you can see which are his because employer is listed.

http://www.campaignmoney.com/political/contributions/robert-mcdonald.asp?cycle=08

He donated to Romney & Boehner in 12: MCDONALD, ROBERT A. MR.
CINCINNATI, OH
45243 The Proctor & Gamble Company/C.E.O. $10,000 05/25/2012 ROMNEY VICTORY INC - Republican

Above info is about 1/2way down the page:

All I want to know is how close he is to the Clinton’s—like nearly every single key Obama czar, I will be floored if he isn’t a full-on Clinton supporter/sycophant.

I don’t care what his military background is—Wesley Clark proved that even formerly moral and brave soldiers can be corrupted and used.

Well, at least he knows already how to cover his tracks if needed.

His political contributions from 2005 on show a lot of donations....every one was to the "Procter and Gamble Good Government" pac.

If I have time, I'll look to see if I can find who and what the P & G pac contributes to. Although I have to figure out how to it.

Unless I missed reading something, the late Mister Murtha was neither a graduate nor ever a Mid at the USNA.

Opps...my mistake.I thought I remembered Rat Party operative claiming, during that period that Murtha was calling our guys in Iraq/Afghanistan baby killers, that he was a Marine who graduated from the Naval Academy.

It will be like a bunch of dishonest mechanics telling the owner of the car that it can’t be fixed without buying a thing-a-ma-jig. He’ll say “Then go buy one!”

“I would. But they’re on back order.”

“Okay, give me a call when one comes in.”

Proctor and Gamble is big time supporter of sodomite rights and every other type of special rights for queers.
McDonald was the CEO. He has no experience whatsover in healthcare, but does in sodomite “rights”. So free sex changes for vets are on the way!

http://www.knowmore.org/wiki/index.php?title=Procter_%26_Gamble_Company

P&G is a strong supporter of gay rights
Offer benefits to domestic partners and includes gays and lesbians in their programs teaching workplace sensitivity
Dropped advertising for Dr. Laura Schlessinger television show over her statements that homosexuality is a “biological error” and that gays and lesbians are “deviant”.
Supports an employee network group called GABLE (Gay and Bi-Sexual, Lesbian Employees of Procter & Gamble)
