White House: Amnesty for DREAMers' Parents as Early as Fall
Breitbart's Big Government ^ | June 29, 2014 | Tony Lee

Posted on 06/29/2014 5:12:43 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

As illegal immigrants flood across the border, President Barack Obama is still reportedly planning to issue an executive action to give temporary amnesty and work permits this year to the parents of illegal immigrant children.

A "senior official familiar with the White House deliberations" told the Los Angeles Times that the "work is continuing" on a Deferred Action program for the parents of so-called DREAMers and other executive actions to ease deportations. The Times noted that the program "was tentatively slated to be announced this fall," but the Obama administration may try to enact it after the midterm elections because two in three Americans, according to the most recent Gallup poll, disapprove of the way Obama is handling immigration right now.

In 2012, Obama, by executive fiat, enacted the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program that gave temporary amnesty and work permits for two years to illegal immigrant children who came to the country before they were 16, had been living in the United States since 2007, were not over 30 years of age, and met a variety of other requirements.

As Breitbart News has reported, "at least 560,000 people to date have been granted temporary amnesty under the DACA program," and federal officials expect that number will increase as "applicants who were not eligible in 2012 because they were not 16 years of age" will be able to apply for DACA in September, when those who received temporary amnesty in 2012 can re-apply for another two years.

Amnesty advocates stormed Congress on Friday to demand Deferred Action for the parents and family members of illegal immigrant children, which Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) has also vehemently supported. Obama recently asked Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson to delay its review of the nation's immigration laws....

The commies ‘RATS are scared to death that November is going to be a disaster unless they can quickly come up with a whole crapload of freeloading, low information Marxist voters who love fascist government.

This is what is sick about the whole Obama mess: If Obama was legally able to run for a third term, the voters who voted for him the last two times would probably vote for him again, no matter how terrible a president he has been and no matter how much he has abused his power. Sad.

I guess Obama was the lesser of two Evils, very interesting.

I had no idea Obama he was a Republican though.
You learn something new every day around here.

Well, doesn’t matter anyway, we’re stuck with Obama until January of 2017 and Harry Reid will still be running the Senate long after that.

It was a great Country while it lasted. Time to grab a tub of Popcorn and watch the show.

Actually the facts show our side voluntarily adopted the left’s agenda one little step at a time. Incrementalism. Just as the left has always done things.

Today, the Political Right/GOP is a pressure relief valve at best. They give you liberalism a little at a time rather than the Dems having to. Except now it’s not so little.

But still we see excuses. Last week one Freeper posted border patrol ‘facts” on fencing effectiveness from a Pro Amnesty website. A few days ago Another said that Abortion was a lesser evil. Last night one argued endlessly that Reagan’s GOP was more liberal than todays.

Anyone think we aren’t infiltrated?

As if Barry/Romney was the first time ‘lesser evil’ entered the lexicon. Freeper please.

Liberals are very patient.

With Obama they don’t need to be patient anymore. They advance their cause weekly now, no make that daily.

Well, in the General Election there were two choices and I guess the People picked their idea of the Lesser of Two Evils.

So here we are. Things will only get worse from here.

... Watch for the narrative to slowly change from "Dreamers" to frightened and tormented "Refugees" in the next few weeks and months.

.... After the narrative has changed .... the burden of the narrative of a negative legal action will be upon the lap of the Republicans ..... to try to defend against sending these poor innocent children back to their horrible deadly countries .... sentenced to die because of the EVIL Republicans. The tug of the heartstrings is hard to defend against ....

.... and that is how you win elections.

It is easy to advance daily or weekly when you face no resistance. The republicans are not the democrats opposition. They are like the vichy French. The republican party would rather use lying vile democrat tactics against their own people than stand up to the traitors, invaders or a Marxist usurper.

No there were far more than 2 choices. And I really wish people would stop spreading such easily disproven nonsense.

There were people you personally chose to not consider. But there were indeed other choices. Had we all picked one of those instead of wasting it on determining the lesser of two liberals (whose records were mirrors of each other) neither would be in office today.

Yes. And with no pushback from the GOP. Which makes them complicit.

Remember the term Pelosi always used during President Bush’s first Term, the Democrats were The Loyal Opposition.

When is the last time you heard that said about the Republicans? If I remember correctly, it would be NEVER.

I was referring to the GENERAL ELECTION, not the Primary Election.

My choice during the Primaries was Newt, but that didn’t work out too well.

I’m not going to argue the point. Don’t Vote in the General Election, the other guy wins. Vote Third Party in the General Election, the other guy wins.

Around here we complain about what the GOP Candidate “would have” done if he was Elected. He wasn’t, so it’s pointless.

Doesn’t matter. The Country we knew is gone and I fear it is gone forever. Playing Battling Keyboards won’t make any difference.

If we had a Speaker of the House instead of a sobbing orange lady, Hussein would face Articles of Impeachment.

"....Remember the term Pelosi always used during President Bush’s first Term, the Democrats were The Loyal Opposition. When is the last time you heard that said about the Republicans?..."

.... Note it was Pelosi and the Democrats that kept repeating the term. The burden is always upon each party to portray themselves in a certain way even tho they may be portrayed otherwise in the media.

....It's called repetition .... it's a form of Psy-Ops .... and used right it can be used to nail a thought and/or concept into the minds of others. Unfortunately it takes a cohesive team to accomplish this....... Sadly ... Teamwork is not a strong trait and is regrettably a foreign concept to the GOP.

I was talking General as well. The ballot had more than two choices printed on it. There is no point in arguing it I agree. If enough people break their conditioning and vote for any person regardless of party, that person wins. Simple math.

Actually it does. In the past week, many people have seen the light and won’t be voting for their problems anymore. I have seen many posts across the net since the Thad fiasco where people switched voter registrations to Indy. So yes, battling keyboards dose make a difference. In this case, a positive one.
