I’ve met her. Smart, young, attractive Hispanic. But, she has a problem with a local issue that’s killing her with the GOP base in NH. She represents the Salem area where she was the deciding vote against a casino. The area she represents held a non-binding vote for a casino that won by over 80%.

In her defense, she ran for the NH house saying she would vote to veto a casino. In any event the voters are not happy with her & she is going to have a difficult time gaining any traction in the election.

Is the Club for Growth conservative?

Great to hear! Looks like the stars are aligning for Marilinda. The NH-02 is the more Democrat of the state’s two CDs (Obama carried it by 54.2% to 44.5% over Romney, but freshman Congresswoman Annie Kuster is a lackluster candidate and eminently beatable; Marilinda Garcia could become the most conservative Represetative from NH-02 in decades.

Their donors are pro-amnesty so they have to stick to fiscal attacks on RINOs. Which often don’t work. But they aren’t stupid enough to start pushing for amnesty. Then they wonder why Brat won with no support.

Bob Perry, who passed away, left money to Cornyn and Club For Growth.

Madison Project and Senate Conservatives are the better groups.

They are a premier fiscal conservative group that has nothing to do with pushing shamesty. They were big backers of Chris McDaniel.

Not to mention one of the most attractive Congresswoman of all time and a contender for the top spot to be sure. Her exact birthday isn’t listed but it says circa 1983 so she might possibly be slightly younger than the current female record holder, rat Liz Holtzman of NY (31 at first election).

Elise Stefanik is 29 and will (knock on wood) take over the spot of youngest Congresswoman ever. She would also be (unless a younger male is elected, maybe Paul Dieztel in Louisiana?) the first member of Congress younger than me (I was born Oct. 1983). A sobering thought. The current youngest member, rat Patrick Murphy of Florida is 6 months my senior.

When there’s a SENATOR that’s younger than me I will truly feel old.

I hope you meant to say that Liz Holtzman was the "current female record holder" for youngest congresswoman, not for most attractive, or else your taste in women leaves a lot to be desired ....

Here's a picture of the lovely state Representative Marilinda Garcia:

Kuster, like many Red Hampshire women; is a foul-mouth skank.

Eh, she's cute, but I certainly wouldn't vote for her in the primary.

There was that story circulating a couple months back about the conservative WV high school student who defeated a GOP incumbent in the primary. She’ll be 18 by November (and its a safe GOP legislative district that voted heavily for Obama), so that gives her over a decade before she’s even eligible to run for the U.S. Senate. She can serve four terms and then she’ll be old enough for Congress. ;-)

Yes, I meant Holtzman has the age record. ;p She was born in ‘41 and elected in ‘72.

The current best looking I would say is rat Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, who may also deserve the all time top spot. There’s not a terribly great amount of competition, sadly. Of course most ladies are older when elected, some of them may have been lookers back in the day.

Nothing would be better than electing tons of beautiful young conservative Republican women to Congress.

Agreed. Club for Growth concentrates exclusively on fiscal issues (which they are indeed the most reliable organization) and most of their endorsements are pretty solid (there are some exceptions like Jeff Flake). In any case, even the "bad" endorsements are still good on fiscal issues.

I found it amusing that people loved to slam Huckabee around as a "socialist" in 2008 because of his weak scores from Club for Growth, but then in 2012, when Rick Santorum got a much BETTER Club for Growth score card than Newt Gingrich, the Newt crowd here ignored it and insisted that Santorum was the "fiscally liberal" candidate and their guy Newt was the only "principled small government Reagan conservative" when HE was the one on record supporting the bank bailouts and porkulus. But hey, who cares about facts? ;-)

So I'd consider a Club for Growth endorsement to be a positive and I don't think the organizations is in any way pro-amnesty (although a handful of their candidates are). On the other hand, Marilinda Garcia's being on the board of "Americans by Choice" is very problematic, IMO.

They say she’s open to shamesty like so many otherwise good conservatives, but her main opponent, Gary Lambert, hardly appears to be more conservative, and is surely less electable.

This is the first cycle I could have run for the Senate. About 14 years ago I was plotting my future run against Durbin. ;p

Sadly, I’d have about the same chance that Uberdouche has at beating him.
