“Several” Republican senators reportedly uneasy with GOP’s tactics in Mississippi runoff

I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that it’s not the tactics themselves that bother them as much as the attention those tactics are receiving from conservative voters.

Says Red State’s Leon Wolf, “If any of these bastards want to avoid the fallout they should go on the record.”

Yep, they're only uneasy because they didn't expect the blowback.

They didn’t realize the reach of the new media. Even just a decade ago, very little would have been heard about this

The Democrat scum media did its job in this case. They were complicit in helping Cockroach win the primary because they knew the Democrats would have a better chance winning the general election. Now watch as the media changes course and trashes Cockroach prior to the general election.

The GOP-e made a deal with the devil, and it’s probably going to result in the GOP losing what has been a safe seat for years.

I think that’s why the above anonymous Senators are supposedly “uneasy.”

And yes, you’re right, the media is certainly not going to love Cochran anymore, now that they’ve gotten what they wanted.

New media? Or the MSM that revels in any discord on the right. I think the later.

It is a shame they don’t have the guts to play hard ball against the Dims.

This was Romney who ripped his republican challengers a new one at every turn, then went belly up for the magic negro.

I’m sure that’s true for some - but I think this was a new low for the GOPe, and I think it did catch SOME of the Senators by surprise. I think Haley Barbour is now viewed as a pariah in some circles that just a week ago liked him.

Now watch as the media changes course and trashes Cockroach prior to the general election.

Politico publishes a free newspaper around DC to spout their liberalism. Usually there's one in the bathroom to read. When I looked at some articles before the primary they called him the "beloved senior senator". We'll see if they lose that adjective now or change to a new one. I predict they will go with "wounded".

Several? Out of nearly 50? That means there are more than 40, or at least 9 out of 10 Republican Senators who aren’t uneasy with the horrendous GOPe tactics.

C, what caught them by surprise was the attention that these filthy tricks got in the new media and the uproar that it has caused.

If McDaniel doesn't get a new election, my guess is that MS will go demonRAT and then the rotten son of a bitch haley barbour, that fat pig from the swamps can explain that to his pals.

Barbour will more openly go democrat just as he has recently. He knows how to pay the right people off.

They way to take down Barbour and his kind is for McDaniel to challenge and win a new primary election or win as a write-in, then take the revenue stream from K Street and locals and smash Barbour over time after first cozying up to him and picking off his support one by one.

Cochran will easily win in November unless huge numbers on the right stay home.

As much as I despise Cochran and Barbour, I don’t want us to kill the fly on our forehead with an axe. The Dems do hope we injure ourselves just so.

In 2014 we have a shot at 51. I’d like that even if it’s short lived.

In 2016 they will have a shot at getting 60. I don’t want that.

Cochran will be gone in 2 years and gov will appoint someone else. He will live the rest of his life in shame - if he’s even still self-aware.

It’s easy to be ultra cynical, dissmissive and to lump everyone together. However, that’s probably not the total truth. The fact is, this was a new low. Therefore, just being exposed is not the whole story. It cannot be.

And yet, these unknown Republican Senators remain MUTE to the vote fraud committed by Sen. Cochran against his challenger McDaniel. Silence by these “uneasy” Senators = full agreement with the dirty campaigning used.
