Why SCOTUS Ruled in Favor of Hobby Lobby
American Spectator ^ | 6/30/2014 | David Catron

This morning’s Supreme Court ruling in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby will doubtless precipitate a flood of stories from the establishment “news” media claiming that an entrenched cadre of conservative justices have dealt a grievous blow to the reproductive freedom of women and somehow endowed corporations with religious rights. These reports should be ignored as so much hysterical nonsense. What the Court actually said was that the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) requires the government to provide closely held corporate objectors to Obamacare’s contraception mandate the same accommodation it already provides nonprofit organizations.

The Green and Hahn families, who own two such closely held corporations, sued the Obama administration because the contraception mandate would have forced them to abandon their religious beliefs or go bankrupt. Both families considered this an outrageous violation of their religious rights as guaranteed by the First Amendment and reiterated by RFRA, a 1993 law passed by a Democrat-controlled Congress and enthusiastically signed by Democrat President Bill Clinton. In a ruling written by Justice Samuel Alito, who was joined by Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Antonin Scalia, Justice Clarence Thomas, and Justice Anthony Kennedy, the Supreme Court agreed.

If it’s not clear, the government can interpret it it’s own way, so it’s worthless. Look at Mark Steyn’s column, because he quotes a lawyer saying the opposite.

The ruling was over RFRA test that the solution be the “least intrusive”. Obamacare severe penalties clearly were not.

I always knew when a liberal conceded a loss on FB, they hated my guts afterwards.

One was an inlaw of a close friend and my friend wanted me to tangle with the inlaw. The inlaw was still bitching about me days later apparently. It even caused a fight inside their place of business. Nose to nose. lol

This person even went as far as to try to make sure I didn’t visit my friend at their place of business. That’s all the inlaw could come up with, that maybe I might loiter there, and I must be stopped. Pathetic.

I started posting that the companies’ owners are conscientious objectors. I’m waiting for the whinefest.

That reminds me....I have to watch my local ABC news tonight. One of the anchors, a hometown Scottsdale girl, was reporting on Zero’s Phoenix visit last year. She was positively giddy with excitement, but when she mentioned the “nonpartisan Organizing for America” in her report, I just lost it. I commented on her ignorance on her Facebook page, and she snidely responded that she was merely parroting what her assistant had written and she had impeccable journalistic ethics, etc. This is the same woman who emceed a reproductive rights dinner and was rebuked by her own station for it. I can’t wait to see how she frames the message tonight, lol.

One of the very few times I wish I had a Facebook account so that I could speak my piece, even though my effort would be wasted.

You, unlike so many, are up with the game. Good for you! I’m sick near unto death with so-called Freeper conservatives who belly ache daily about the direction this country went, but won’t take the actions necessary to begin to make a difference, like shunning, which is what you’ve done. But more, much more direct action needs to be taken if we’re going to take this country back into a proper direction. Its way past time to let those who support the Democrat party that they are no longer considered to be civilized members of this society.

Like it or not, those of us who hold to conservative American values and the Constitution and the rights it guarantees are at war with an insidious, odious and devious evil which seeks nothing less than our total destruction. They seek to enslave us. But so many continue to argue with and molly coddle the wretched Liberal sh*t bastards when instead, they should be looking for ways to ruin them, at least, financially, if no other mechanism of ruination is readily available. There’s no easy way out of this and these rigged elections solve nothing.

It’s a blast watching liberals get insulted by facts. All you need is one liberal “friend.” they all have friends, who have friends, etc., and your post can end up stirring up thousands of liberals into a orgy of whining.

they (liberals) know he is Black. they believed Anita Hill because they believe that black men are genetically incapable of not being sexual predators. They believe that he is stupid because he is black. they won’t directly admit it, but you can read that into what they say and post.

Why SCOTUS Ruled in Favor of Hobby Lobby

Well because it is the correct ruling on the law? That would seem to make sense to me........
