The Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in session 1 July 2014 supported the draft resolution authorship U.S. Senator Benjamin Cardin, condemning the actions of the Russian Federation with regard to Ukraine. For a decision voted 92 participants of the meeting.
The resolution, in particular, condemned "the obvious, gross and uncorrected violation of the Helsinki principles of the Russian Federation with respect to Ukraine, including a particularly egregious violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country," reports Tsenzor.NET referring to RBC.
In the course of the debate on the resolution was supported by the Amendment, which condemns the occupation of the territory of Ukraine.
Furthermore, the resolution condemns the military aggression and various forms of coercion storonyRF aimed at suppressing the rights inherent in sovereignty of Ukraine, calling such actions unprovoked and based on absolutely baseless assumptions and prepositions.
Also, according to the resolution, said the OSCE was held in Crimea, March 16, 2014 referendum illegitimate and calls upon all States parties to refuse to recognize the forcible annexation of the Crimea by the Russian Federation.
In this regard, calls upon all OSCE participating States to refuse to recognize the forcible annexation of the Crimea by the Russian Federation, as well as supporting "mutually and fully justified international response to this crisis, and adhere to it."
