Skip to comments.Allegations Of Vote Buying In Mississippi … (DAILY CALLER SHILLS FOR THAD COCHRAN!!!)
Posted on 07/01/2014 10:34:01 AM PDT by Viennacon
If you read conservative outlets like RedState or Breitbart or even if you just get Chris McDaniels email alerts youre aware of allegations of vote buying in Mississippi.
If the allegations are true, its reprehensible. But the problem is that theyre coming from a less than reputable source.
The African-American pastor alleging that he was offered money to buy votes for Thad Cochran was also paid by the reporter for the story. This is both ironic and problematic: If youre the kind of person who is willing to participate in a vote-buying scheme, isnt it possible youd also be the kind of person who is willing to make up a wild story in order to get paid by a reporter?
Another interesting wrinkle is that the person making the allegation claims he received the walking around money to distribute to African-American voters but never got paid the money he was promised for his services (note: Always get paid up front!).
Of course, even if this pastor is telling the truth, the hard part will be proving that a). the people ordering the vote buying were actually from the Cochran campaign, and b). that the number of votes bought would account for the difference in the election. (Lets assume that a consultant took it upon himself to order this scheme. He might certainly find himself in legal hot water, but would that impact Cochrans victory?)
As such, they will either shock the political world by proving massive voter fraud or ensure that any political future McDaniel might have hoped to salvage is over.
Im betting on the latter, but in politics, anything can happen.

Actually...no secret that news outlets pay for info or stories. That those breaking MS Vote Fraud story mentioned such payment adds credibility. News outlets usually don’t admit it
Daily Caller covering for GOPLibs
Back in the seventies, people used to buy black voters by loading up a pickup truck with half-pints of whiskey, and a banner, and pass them out in the black section.
Is anyone now conducting an investigation into these allegations?
Really? Paid to recount a story for a news outlet?
Oh! My goodness!
What is our world coming to? Why next thing you know, “Good Morning America” will be paying Hillary to appear and talk about her latest book!
Trayvon’s mother did what? asked for how much?
Huh, hooda think it?
Whaddya mean Woodward and Bernstein paid Deep Throat? really?
I am hopeful the story is true, but I think all this article does is point out the red flags in how it came about. When the McDaniels campaign comments on it, I will feel alot better. We’ve been set up before.
What a freakin’ joke those knuckleheads are!
Yes it does prove my point. Folks in news and other businesses pay for info.
Yep, if the seat is going to go to a Republican, they would rather it be a RINO.
maybe the pastor has a conscience and felt bad after he stooped so low.. unlike journolists that work at the Daily Culler who have no shame or feel no guilt for their own complicity in covering up the errors of the Left’s way.
how about the establishment media KNEW this was happening and did not report it...
Exactly. I said on an earlier post that I could see GOPe putting this out there so they can pull the plug later and call us all a bunch of right-wing nuts. Typical Dem trick and they are after all, Dems. That being said, it certainly warrants further investigation.
If the Dems did put it out it would be because Chris is making them nervous with his investigation of double-voting and fraudulent absentee ballots. If the McDaniel investigation is making GOP nervous enough to try and derail it, that's a good thing. Means Chris is on the right track. So either way this story plays out is good for Chris, unless we jump too fast.
MUCH MORE THAN “ALLEGATIONS”:
With a bit of luck, this may be the death knell for the elitist GOP Beltway banditos. Just hope enough folks are paying attention.
You said it much better than I did... meanwhile I am hopeful it is the real thing.
"A picture is worth ten thousand words.."
Dunno. It’s gone quiet hasn’t it?
Who’s payroll is the FBI on?...
Who owns the FBI.?.. they are AWOL...
