I applied for Legal Aid since I am being sued and have no income. On their application, they asked me if I’m Straight or Gay. I’m like WTF, I’m applying for legal help not some gay porn actor, sheesh.
I work for a big bank. Just waiting for this stuff to hit my company.
Surveys are anonymous, are they not?
Having put together these types of surveys for companies I understand what they are trying to do.
Many companies base their “corporate donations” on the interests and concerns of their employees.
For example, I had a staff with a couple of folks with Cystic Fibrosis. That came out in our survey about where they would like to see us commit our share of location donations.
I am NOT defending support of the LGBT crap. I think its silly. I am simply trying to explain WHY they are doing this in such a ham fisted manner.
Read at the link...they are not.
Not this one. They were required to put down their employee number.
like I FEEL like I'm a minority so I should get all the breaks.
Employer surveys typically claim to be anonymous, but in reality there are enough identifiable markers for them to make a very good guess at who submitted a particular response. They are usually coded by Department and VP/Director/Manager. That narrows them down sometimes to a very narrow group. At my last company, given the department size I worked in and the fact that I was “managing” the group put a bullseye on any responses...I refused to participate.

Whether the business wants to support that or not is their business. But they have to know how dangerous such questions can seem. People have lost jobs for not having a politically correct opinion.
We live in an era where there is little tolerance for anyone opposed to this stuff. Quite frankly, we need a don’t ask, don’t tell law regarding social and political views on the job. If I’m not openly discussing my views, they shouldn’t be allowed to ask.
There is too much room for abuse of position over opinions when it comes to a person’s job.
Yep-all aboard the pervert bus to Hell!
I’m LGBT if there is money in it for me.
I would answer “I am a lesbian trapped in a man’s body. I am attracted only to women.”
Hmm, you are huh?
I think 0bamacare covers gender re-assignment surgery, might get you a good 'gubmint job :-)
That’s why I NEVER complete employer surveys.
Time to cancel Chase accounts and tell them why. The U.S. government and some of corporate America have gone bonkers. The silent majority have to begin making loud noise ourselves making it clear that we won’t put up with this lunacy and we not patronize businesses that choose to use their resources in this way.
And people laugh when I say that the Federal Reserve and a fiat currency have a direct and pronounced influence on many societal trends....
