BEECH GROVE, Ind. - Police were still searching for the suspect who shot and robbed a man in a crowded Wal-Mart parking lot in Beech Grove on Monday evening.
The incident happened in the 4600 block of South Emerson Avenue around 6:30 p.m., officials with the Beech Grove Police Department said.
Police said 22-year-old Jacob Faulkner was shot in the arm and chest in the apparent preplanned robbery. He was still recuperating in a hospital Tuesday.
Officials said the passenger in Faulkners truck, 27-year-old Daniel Witter, was not injured.
At first, police believed the men were making an exchange that started on Craigslist. Authorities thought the men were meeting in the parking lot to make the sale. Detectives no longer believe thats the case.

More of the Chicago community organizer’s hopey/changey fundamental transformation. I’m surprised that SEIU isn’t out there organizing these criminals yet.
Only a matter of time. LOL!
Yesterday, they found out they couldn’t extort money from mothers who take care of their disabled children, so perhaps “organizing” criminals is their next objective.
I’m loving it. Only applies to a select few but hey! it’s a start.
