Why the Left's Preoccupation with the Redskins?

The Left is deeply in the grip of a Compulsion For Uniformity. They are also at war with reality; a war with the fact that we are all different, with different personalities, different aptitudes, different preferences, etc.. This is why they go "looney-tunes," at anything that recognizes human differences, however trivial the impact of that recognition may seem to normal people.

Virtually every initiative that comes from the Left reflects this compulsion. To put the seemingly trivial frothing at the mouth or keyboard, by those vilifying the "Redskins," into perspective, consider Reason Or Compulsion.

Preemptive sympathy campaign for Elizabeth Warren for President 2016. The Liberals are beginning to see that Hillery really is totin’ a whole lot of baggage.

They want to have Warren waiting in the wings as Understudy or perhaps Designated Hitter. The luster has worn off their “it is time for a black president” schtick and they are worried that “it is time for a woman president” might not be enough.

So, they’ve decided to add “native-American (oppressed by evil white male team owners)” to their candidate’s list of qualifications to be President. They would try adding LGBTQRXYZ, but even they have enough sense that will not fly (at least in ‘flyover country’).

If you cannot express yourself contrary to leftism, then leftism is the only state of mind you recognize.
