Someone Asked About Harvesting Votes Like Cotton on Thad Cochran’s Press Call

A press call held by Sen. Thad Cochran’s campaign was cut short by a comparison between harvesting cotton and harvesting votes. According to reports from several journalists, at one point a man asked “If black people were harvesting cotton, why is it OK to harvest their votes?” Cochran’s campaign abruptly ended the press call after that, but several people stayed on the line to yell at one another.

The call was meant to push back claims that the Cochran campaign purchased votes or otherwise won the election illegitimately, but only served to further tensions within the Mississippi Republican party. According to Business Insider, the caller asked twice about “harvesting black votes,” before Cochran campaign advisor Austin Barbour replied “Sir, I don’t know where you’re calling from, but I’m happy to address any question, no matter the lunacy of it.”

The name of the commenter isn’t currently known, but some suspect it was a McDaniel supporter. Charles C. Johnson, the conservative blogger who accused the Cochran campaign of engaging in a votes-for-cash scheme tweeted the call-in information to his followers before the call and invited them to crash it with him.

Is this why we are seeing reports that the LSM including Fox are giving zero attention to this story?

LOL! How dare someone mention that which should not be named!

----

These people are disguising, terrorizing people into committing voter fraud by falsely accusing the opponent of targeting them because they're black.

Then again, they DO use Thad Cochran like he's some kind of meat puppet, so I guess fraud would be a step UP for them.

I cannot explain why the MSM isn’t jumping all over this “Republican vote-buying scandal”.... or maybe it is because the guy is really a Dem?

This ranks up there with the guy who asked Hilary if she would make out her book to Christopher Stevens.

"No, I can't do that."

"What difference does it make now?"

Boom.

Or because his co-conspirators were Democrats and the media knows they would be drawn in by any investigation too.

Beware of false flag operations. Just sayin' ... If you were a Tea Party advocate with a singular opportunity to catch Cochran off guard with a difficult question, would you really waste it with tripe in the form of a simile like that? Not likely. I give my Tea Party friends, and myself, credit for far more intelligence, creativity, civility than that. Sounds more like a liberal pretending to be a conservative to me.

It wasn’t the Tea Party. Clarion Ledger reported they have a hunch they know who it was, and he’s not in the McDaniel camp. He’s a local crazy.

Is this why we are seeing reports that the LSM including Fox are giving zero attention to this story?

During Fox News Sunday, they covered the election but used it to again pontificate on the demise of the Tea Party. Not a word about the fraud problems, probably out of deference to Karl Rove who is their big establishment Republican and probably had a behind the scenes role in the shenanigans.

Yep, I think you nailed it.

In almost all other circumstances, the media would be falling all over themselves with endless news stories of GOP FRAUD! GOP FRAUD! That would be total catnip to them. Just having those two words together, to hammer with, over and over.

But in this case, it would show off the sleaze and fraud of the “establishment class” and their beltway buds. Nope, can’t have that! So, this very, very major political scandal gets deliberately ignored and deliberately underplayed.

It is because the Uniparty is “united” in their disdain for anyone associated with the TEA party aka anyone who detests the unipartys monopoly on our political system.

The announcement was that Senator Thad Cochran was calling a press conference today. Apparently senator Cochran is no longer capable of speaking for himself, is he being held captive? Why was austin barbour holding the press conference? There was nothing new, apparently it was held to again denigrate Senator McDaniel, Senator McDaniel’s campaign and Conservatives for having the audacity to oppose the republican establishment and the barbours. It turned into a fiasco as has everything else Austin has done during this campaign. Apparently senator cochran is no longer capable of speaking for himself, is he being held captive?

“I cannot explain why the MSM isn’t jumping all over this “Republican vote-buying scandal”.... or maybe it is because the guy is really a Dem?”

Because there is a MUCH BIGGER PRIZE - the destruction of the Tea Party, which then means Amnesty, and then the destruction of the Republican Party completely.

The end-game is what they’re after, and Cockran is doing EXACTLY what they need him to do.

In today’s world, practicing journalism during the Obama and/or a democratic administration could cost you your job. (Atkinson) Unless, of course, it is a republican or a Tea Partier.

Which leads me to the conclusion that Thad is a closet Dem.

The reason is that the vote buying was done through Black churches, which have a history of doing the same thing for the Democrats.

So while it would be a good shot at Republicans, going after the story would expose the much larger issue of corruption and collusion between the Black churches and the Democrats. A friend of mine who worked a few Presidential campaigns in the Midwest once told me that Black pastors think they deserve to get a new car every four years ...

But ... it’s all fun and games until people start getting slapped with RICO indictments. And say what you want about the Obama/Holder DoJ, but this would quickly turn into something they couldn’t ignore.
