Why don't American Jews, as a group, care about Israel anymore?
Somebody please explain this to me.
Because IMHO the majority of Jews are socialist / marxist individuals.
A great many mostly liberal Jews were against the creation of Israel. The reasons were, but not limited to: * Rejection of the religion of Judaism and its tenets * The fear of Jews in America would be attacked for Israel * The reformed Jewish movement in America opposed the creation of Isreal and fought it. Many are resentful of Israel to this day.
* The disassociation of non-affiliated Jews, who are the majority of American Jews towards Israel. They do not accept the premise for its existence and have been heavily propagandized my world media. *
Political ideology trumps religion when the two conflict.
Which, IMO, is proof that said people aren't really religious. Theirs is a religion of convenience.
The immediate threat to them ideologically in the USA is Christians.
Subject to change depending on who is actually killing them.
Look for American Jews post Hussein Baraka to bail on the domestic communist anti-semite democrat party.
Won't make much difference,as the enemy within has plenty of replacements illegal aliens to fill the void.
Maybe 70-75% of them care more about their hatred and resentments than about their loves??
Being estranged from their religion, they therefore have little feeling for the holy land of Israel. They are ignorant of the extreme significance of the land of Israel to them, as Jews. They are ignorant of their responsibility to Israel, as Jews--"If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, may my right hand lose its cunning..."
They have little pride in being Jewish; mostly they seem to regard it as a social disadvantage. They have no idea of the beauty and majesty of their natal religion, which is a tragedy. They have no qualms about marrying out of the religion, or bringing into the world a new generation of non-Jews. As Esau traded his precious birthright for a lowly bowl of stew, they also place no value on that which is, in fact, priceless.
So you cannot lump all American Jews together. Assuredly, the Orthodox Jews are almost totally conservatives who despise Odumbo and who revere Israel, sending their sons and daughters there to study in religious schools. You can't care more about a country than sending your precious offspring there to study and to learn to love the land.
