I’ve been here long enough to remember when SoCal was inhabited by Americans.

The most beautiful state of the "57," as Obama might say...and the best weather. Paradise, it used to be. And we gave it away to anybody who could crawl, slither, swim, or overstay a visa to get here. Most Californians just said, "Oh, you want our paradise? I see you're ruining it. Well, we'll just leave and let you have it. Carry on!" Though they did vote for Prop. 187 first, which did indeed turn out to be the "last gasp."
