Will Obama finally get some credit for the improving economy?
Washington Post ^ | July 3, 2014 | BY PAUL WALDMAN

Today’s jobs report was a very good one: 288,000 new jobs were created in June, and the unemployment rate fell to 6.1 percent.

So will Barack Obama get the credit?

Probably not. First of all, we shouldn’t get too excited; there are still a lot of people looking for work, there are a lot who have gotten discouraged and dropped out of the labor force, and there are a lot working part time when they’d rather have full-time jobs.

I’ll give him credit for starting the civil war

Importing all these diseases and bussing them around?

If half a school comes down with TB?

If a terrorist manages to kill many after crossing thru the south?

Look out.

The country is TRYING to improve, but when it’s getting kicked in the balls all the time...how can it get up?

His golf game may be all that has improved but then again as score keeper he has a severe credibility problem.

Ok, just for the sake of argument, let’s say the economy HAS improved.

How, exactly, would Clueless-in-Chief have had anything to do with that? Anything at all?

Anyone? Bueller?

I can’t believe that our Founding Fathers didn’t put protective programs and people (White Knights?) in place to protect our Constitution and way of life (freedom). What a legacy all these useless politicians will have - not that it will matter anymore. Pray for our children and grandchildren!

The economy at the Washington Post must be doing really well, because it sucks everywhere else. Part time jobs at low wages, combined with real street inflation, groceries, fuel, electricity, insurance, rent, property taxes, wage freezes, and so on, doth not a good economy make. Add to that the jobless teenagers, college graduates, blacks, Hispanics, and people who can’t afford to hunt for work, or buy minutes for their Obama phones, and a lot of people are scraping rock bottom in Obama’s economy. Everyone knows that once the smoke and mirrors are gone, the economy is horrid.

I would “give credit” to Clown Prince nobama if he resigned immediately and disappeared. The fool & tool is the worst pResident ever. He should be in prison for his many and continuing crimes.

I think we should wait for the economy to actually improve before answering that question.

the method of making the official statistical “unemployment” rate (1) masks the real unemployment rate, (2) masks the growth of the long-term unemployed, (3) masks the growth of how many millions have completely left the work force, and (4) masks the declining job participation rate - all to sell the myth of the official unemployment rate.

The economy has improved? Shirley you jest..........
My wife with 15 years experience has been looking for a FULL TIME job in the health care industry for over 3 years. Every job listed in 50 mile radius is PART Time and no or limited benefits. Gas is up, food cost are up, energy cost are up, healthcare costs are up, wages are stagnant.
The only credit I will give that asshat Obama is thank you for screwing up my Country!

The Summer of Recovery 6.0.

Americans should always get credit for a vibrant economy. The best thing politicians can do is get out of the way.

...288,000 new jobs were created in June...

Lie. About 500,000 full-time jobs were destroyed, while about 800,000 PART-TIME jobs were "created."
