The “shortage” of ag laborers has led to a $1 increase in hourly wage. Seems to me that’s a good thing because it will attract non-Mixtec workers, pretty much absent in the fields nowadays by design.

Thats the difference between a 'leader versus a 'politician' who needs to run a favorability poll ,before he takes action.
A leader knows and acknowledges sovereignty , and protects his people, and respects a patriot .
The politician wants to know which decision will result in favorability for the next election for himself, or his party.
The politician considers others as peons ,or ignorant , and thinks the patriot is expendable for his purposes.
The people value the leader ; the politician is irrelevent for national survival and will blow away with the chaff.

I’m thinkin’ this was the goal of ‘Fast & Furious’..
