Anthony Cumia, the Anthony part of the unfiltered Opie and Anthony show on SiriusXM radio, has been fired after criticism mounted over a graphic Twitter rant he engaged in that was called racist, misogynistic, and hate-filled.

The left has been after the Opie and Anthony Show for a long time. They don't fit the ideology leftist want preached to the younger folk of America. Anthony has a concealed carry permit one of the few handed out to civilians in New York. Big critics of ObamaCare. Hope SiriusXM subscribers voice their disapproval with their wallets.
I guess twittering is not private communication.

I can’t go to The Blaze, it locks up Explorer. Anyone else have that problem?

(God, guns, guts.)
How many times has this guy been fired? I think he needs to get canned every three years just to stay relevant.
I tend to avoid any of the links, unless the topic really intrigues me.....but I’ve seen a whole lot of FReepers complaining about cooties and/or problems with Blaze.

twittering isn’t private communication.
neither what you post on facebook.
it’s all voluntary and it requires the person to actively post it.
he’s not the first person to be fired for doing something outside of work, that work finds out about, and decides to fire them.
to me, given he’s’more to the right of his employer, and apparently not a liberal idiot, i have to wonder if he wanted to get fired.

I do, too. The articles just scroll down from one article to aother, and I can't control the flow, can't read the article, so I just go to Breitbart and read their articles.
Is The Blaze's problem in that they have too many advertisements on the screen, or?

I’ve never heard this guy’s show. But the real story here is that he was the victim of a racial attack.
That fact will be conveniently omitted from all media stories on this.

I don't use Explorer but, yes, The Blaze website is so full of ads and photos and ads and animation and ads that it's hard to visit the page.

The tweets that led to the firing were sent early Wednesday morning. According to Cumia, he was taking pictures in Times Square late Tuesday/early Wednesday when a black woman took exception to being included in one of the pictures and punched him (as many as 10 times, he said). Thats when, he explained, five other black men jumped in and started giving him sh**.

Anthony Cumia @AnthonyCumia
Then she punched me 5 more times. She’s lucky I was a white legal gun owner or she’d be dead. Then 5 blacks started giving me shit!

It’s a pretty crap design website. There are so many redirects on that site it is unusable unless you set IE to low levels of security.

Yes, I do too. I wondered if I was the only one. It can be very frustrating.
