Three years after her conviction, Anthony is still living like a recluse, rarely leaves her home in an undisclosed Florida city and has been totally cut off from her family, her attorney told CNN.
Casey Anthony was acquitted of murder, but she's still serving a life sentence.
Three years after a jury found the accused murder mom didn't kill her 2-year-old daughter, Anthony, now 28, is still in hiding in Florida and has been cut off from her family, her lawyer says.
"She has to live constantly on guard. She can't go out in public," Cheney Mason told CNN in a recent sit-down.
"She hasn't been freed from her incarceration yet because she can't go out," he added.
"She can't go to a beauty parlor, she can't go shopping to a department store, she can't go to a restaurant, she can't even go to McDonald's. She can't do anything."
Mason said the onetime party girl-turned hermit scrapes together work as "a housekeeper, clerk ... stuff like that" and doesn't talk to her parents, George and Cindy, or her brother, Lee.
The family ignited a media circus in 2008 after toddler Caylee went missing from their Orlando home.
The tiny girl's decayed remains were later found buried in woods nearby.
Casey was charged and faced the death penalty. Mason's team argued Caylee accidentally drowned in a pool and that George Anthony convinced the then-22-year-old to cover it up.
The fallout from the trial apparently severed the clan's already tenuous family ties.
Mason said Anthony "does not have blood family anymore" — the laywer and his wife, Shirley, remained her lone conduits to the outside world.

"She is kind of, I think, afraid of people ... she's not real close to," Mason said.
"We've had a couple of occasions to have social gatherings that can include her -- close friends, the (legal) team. She still likes to back away from the middle."
Anthony has not been seen in public since last spring, when she emerged from seclusion to attend a hearing in her bankruptcy case.
Sporting an all-black ensemble and wide-brimmed hat, she was rushed into the courtroom with her lawyer shielding her in a virtual headlock and, at one point, barked "stop" at the chaotic press mob.
She looked considerably sunnier in two photos Mason released to CNN.

The pics, apparently taken last summer, showed Anthony looking tanned and happy, beaming as Mason clutches her in a fatherly embrace.
Anthony has never granted a face-to-face interview to tell her side of the story. Shirley Mason told CNN she believed Anthony "wants to speak out."
"My hope for her is it gets better for her and the world or the people who have been so hateful can let that go and they can move on," Shirley Mason said.
I still think her dad did it, either by accident or with intent, and used his knowledge and experience as a retired homicide detective to cover his tracks and point the blame at his daughter as the patsy.
Not saying she was mother of the year material but I agree with the jury that the State did not prove the case against her.

That’s not true. Today, I’m shopping here in Texas at Kroger and man it was packed. I look about 40 feet in front of me and see this old guy, he looks just like Joe Biden. I walk over and say, “Hey man, I almost thought you were Joe Biden, but then I thought nay what would he be doing here” I should have finished it with, “are you here looking for illegals?”
And one, not so much. A person found not guilty can be subject to a new trial for the same charge.
Imagine what evil liberals could bring with a similar rule - George Zimmerman would be retried over and over until an all black jury convenes and finds him guilty.
I wish she’d kill herself and do the world a favor. I am appalled she breathes air on the same planet as I. Yes, I meant every word I wrote.
That's not consistent with the evidence. Just because someone can imagine some magical scenario doesn't make it reasonable.

The jury were idiots that believed to prove the case you had to have film of it, or at least forensic evidence that leaves no doubt like on CSI.
Living like a hermit is too good for her...it would only be appropriate if she were in solitary confinement on Florida’s death row, awaiting her appointment with the “hot shot.”
Here’s my question: how do you support yourself as a “maid” or “clerk” when you can’t leave your own home. And who is paying her rent, utilities and other expenses. Please don’t tell me the attorneys are doing it out of their generosity. I’m guessing that some sort of media deal has already been struck; a ghost writer is working on the book and Anthony is living off the six-figure advance.
I’ve also heard that Anthony struck up a “friendship” with an Australian millionaire during her time in jail, and he’s paying her way, in exchange for periodic conjugal visits.

I think Anthony planned to get rich from selling her story, but there is a problem: nobody is interested unless she tells the truth, and Anthony cannot tell the truth.
The jury was handpicked by affirmative action worthless Judge Perry. A fan of Jose Baez. The Pinellas County 12 got their cues from Perry....he was rude and condescending to the prosecutors....and kissed Baez and MC’s ass every chance he got. Dumbest 12 people on earth....right up there with the occupier of The White Hut. If Obammy had a son....judge perry....
Mommy Cindy lied under oath, killer mom perfected her pitiful act and daddy George allowed himself to be labeled a child molester. Caylee? Sweet, baby girl Caylee was an afterthought. Dumped in a swamp like trash. Killer mom duct taped her mouth and nose after dosing her with chloroform.
Baby killers aren’t real popular.
But if she moves to Berkley, Madison or DC I think she would prosper. Leftwing cities like baby killers.
The filth that Jose spewed during opening statements is not evidence. The was NEVER any evidence presented to back up Jose, Cheney and Killer moms porn fantasy. Research who her legal team consisted of. Who was brought in to coach her. All on the Florida taxpayers dime. All approved by scam artist himself, Judge Perry. Again, what is said in opening statements is not evidence....
She won’t tell her “story” until the lawsuits against her are resolved. The woman that she accused of kidnapping Caylee....the “nanny” is suing Caseys skanky ass.

Just last week, Anthony made media headlines again for what many believe to be damning evidence that was overlooked in the case. The Florida sheriff’s office had apparently overlooked over a thousand different search terms made from the family computer.
The term “fool-proof suffication” (sic) was made the day Anthony’s daughter was last seen alive. (Note 14). Jose Baez, the defense attorney that represented Anthony, openly discussed this evidence and other evidence that never made its way into the trial in his recent book.
Surprisingly, Baez openly indicated that he was aware of this search evidence from a computer expert analysis conducted by his defense team and that he was “shocked” the prosecution did not use it at trial. (Note 14).
If she wasn’t pretty no one would care.
It’s called “shunning,” and it has been a part of civilized society for a long time.
She deserves to be shunned. let her rot behind closed doors.
