I’ve been noticing odd references like this in stories in the US as well. I wonder if reporters are trying to mention politically incorrect facts/connections and are being censored by their editors (meaning they have to slip stuff in)? ‘Course this could just be wishful thinking on my part...

The attacker was not mentioned save that it was Southern France, she is 47 with a history of mental problems.
Why, in a legal system where guilt is presumed until innocence is proven is her name being protected?
It’s straight out censorship. If the President can get away with organizing and promoting an invasion of diseased children into his own country and order Border Patrol to keep their mouths shut about the crisis, more leftists feel at ease with censorship and other undisguised denials of service to conservatives.

Above is the same report from the UK. The attacker is a native of Spain, which could mean any nationality. It also says attacks are rare, but 1% of teachers have experienced them. That’s a huge number!
