The Powers That Be are installing surveillance and recognition stuff everywhere, whether you like it or not.

You know darn well they will have evidence of you committing 3 felonies a day, every day.

My guess is that Google Glass will be a tool of the masses, used for self-defense during those times when the official recording “malfunctions” and fails to show the government official breaking the law.

Schools have employed facial recognition systems from the beginning — they are called teachers and principals. If your school doesn’t know who the troublemakers are, they are not paying attention.

If Google Glass records to a cloud then the footage will be removed or disappear.

Google Glass is simply a way for nerds to record peep-shows.

I don’t mean to specifically endorse Google. I merely say that individuals may have to record events of their lives as a self-defense mechanism. I don’t care how people do it, but the world is “He said-She said” and the authorities have a lot on tape. If we have nothing in response, then we just lose lose lose.

To use Google Glass, you have to wear these weird looking spectacles. Not much good in a situation where someone knocks them off one’s face.

But of course, as soon as it is discovered that the new facial recognition software is yielding "racially disproportionate outcomes" (vulgo: more "ethnic minorities" than Whites are being called in to the Principal's Office - even in schools in which these so-called minorities in fact represent over 80% of the student body), the cameras will be quietly turned off.
