How does the U.S. economy do it?
Europe is floundering. China faces slower growth. Japan is struggling to sustain tentative gains.
Yet the U.S. job market is humming, and the pace of economic growth is steadily rising. Five full years after a devastating recession officially ended, the economy is finally showing the vigor that Americans have long awaited.
Last month, employers added 288,000 jobs and helped reduce the unemployment rate to 6.1 percent, the lowest since September 2008. June capped a five-month stretch of 200,000-plus job gains - the first in nearly 15 years.
After having shrunk at a 2.9 percent annual rate from January through March - largely because of a brutal winter - the U.S. economy is expected to grow at a healthy 3 percent pace the rest of the year.
Here are five reasons the United States is outpacing other major economies:

I see more and more beggars here at the different malls and strip malls here in Maryland every day. They usually say something like :
"Out of a job and about to be evicted with three kids. Please help and God bless"
Things are pretty expensive here to be out of a job.
Happy days are here again.
No wonder the immigrants are flocking here, all that $$$ just lying in the street,
We need new immigrants to pick it up since Americans obviously won’t.
nothing but lies and pure CRAPAGANDA.
The comments after the AOL article show that people aren’t falling for this propaganda.
Better welfare payoffs encouraging dropping out.
Killing energy related businesses
Higher number of 'tarded regulations
Supporting the Muzzie Broz.

Who do they think are fooling this time?
The economics paper “Barrons” has an interesting graph this week showing a steady drop in employment of men age 25 to 54 from 1954 to 2014, from 97% to 88%.
Excluding Oil, The US Trade Deficit Has Never Been Worse
Things must be really bad in Europe, China and Japan.
Anyone else remember CNN’s “Road to Recovery” theme they had going all of spring of 2009?
Looks like they’ve now scrubbed the comments.
Um, no: Comments are still there, as described.
No they are still there, says 998.

Triple amen to that.
the economy is ‘humming’??
they announced last week we have 118m FULL-TIME jobs
in 2007, we had 155m
that’s a 24% drop in full-time jobs
there isn’t anything ‘good’ about this economy
It was over 110 today in Phoenix and I saw beggars on all 4 corners today at a few different intersections... You cant hardly stop at any convenience store without being asked for change any time of the day or night. One old guy I saw today was wobbling around, looking like he was going to pass out. In a short 5 mile trip over 20 of them out at intersections though... I thought the about same thing about the 3rd intersection, yeah it sure looks like our economy has recovered...
they lost about a half million full-time’jobs’and gained about 800,000 part-time’jobs.
this is success?
if it wasn’t summer and the season of part-time jobs, ...
the media, they just are shameful. whore-a-gandists. propawhores. you know what i mean.
This is about as Economic Stupid as trying to form the North American Union as the EU fails
“Who do they think are fooling this time?”
Potential mid-term voters.
It is downright creepy how these stories are thrown out there today; 10% of people will eat this nonsense up, because the TV said so...and they vote.
One graph that shows the true state of the economy:
The velocity of the M2 Money supply is in the toilet. The same place as our economy.
Europe is in toilet because of the euro. That was a stupid idea from the start.
Dozens of different countries sharing the same money supply?
That is a formula guaranteed to result in a bunch of bankrupt countries and one or two very rich ones.
It’s like a no limit poker game where one guy has $10,000 to start and everyone else has $250. The guy with 10k only has to have one good hand and the game is over.
Q: Why is the US economy humming?
A: It doesn’t know the words!
How about a thirty hour work week......
That is the unionist goal, to be like France
Right, -3% GDP and a record number of people Unemployed/Underemployed = a humming economy. Only in a Libtard's dreams.
Hey Wiseman, where is my Skittles pooping unicorn?
I just returned from a trip to Europe. My wife’s bag didn’t make it there.
We went to buy her a hairbrush in a Paris drugstore.
37 Euros ($50.30)!!!!!!!!!!
No idea how people survive there.
I have not been able to fill my oil tank in 3 years. I go from 100.00 dollar load to load hoping my pipes won’t freeze if I run out. Lucky I have trees on my land so I can burn wood but at my age it’s tougher to cut , haul and split than 20 years ago. I was paying 1.75 a gallon when Bush was President now it’s 3.50 and more for fuel oil. Except if you live in section 8 housing and you get it free.
288,000 TEMP jobs isn’t a gain it means full time jobs are lost.
The largest drop in long term unemployment benefits. That’s why less people are being counted “looking for work”.
“It was over 110 today in Phoenix and I saw beggars on all 4 corners today”
I live in a neighborhood wherein a 4 bdrm house rents for 2200.00. When we put out a tv, airconditioner, hot water heater etc for the garbage truck it disappears in a matter of hours (sometimes minutes). On recycle day, just about dawn, I noticed a local couple driving down the street, stopping at each recycle container, and picking thru the contents.
Things are changing in America. Once the middle class had enough going for it to leave such activities to the poor.
Sometimes I think I want what they're snorting, then I remember that a mind is a terrible thing to lose.
Get a good pellet stove like a Quadrafire or a Harmon. It will pay off in about two seasons.
funny thing about the new minimum wage...
current: $7.25 * 40 hrs ==. $290
new minimum: $10.10 * 29 hrs == $292.90
same money, less hours. win-win for the mooching class
Well well...... I had never made that calculation but I now know I was right for sure.
There is another reason for wage exscalation ( ghetto speak)..... to erase the costs of Obamacare.
