I don’t doubt that there will be more green jobs in California, perhaps even thousands of them; however, we don’t want to put at risk the millions of well-paying, blue-collar jobs that put bread on the table right now.

This is true in California and in America's coal region.

Another tax that hits disproportionately hard on poor rural communities where 4 wheel drive or trucks are a lifesaving necessity, prices are already the highest in the nation and distances between towns are great.
