BREAKING: Texas and California Militia Unite to Defend the Border
Conservative Tribune ^ | July 6 2014 | Conservative Tribune

Posted on 07/06/2014 10:06:04 AM PDT by PoloSec

The lack of action on border security from the Obama administration has prompted a wide variety of responses. State officials close to the situation in Texas and Arizona have called for federal assistance but have received little response, leaving them to do what they can with their own resources.

Civilian protestors have coordinated to challenge the transportation of illegal immigrants throughout the country by Department of Homeland Security agents. Other civilians, organized into militia groups, have moved troops to Arizona and Texas to assist in closing a border that the federal government seems content to leave open despite the growing violence.

Now California militia members have united with their comrades in Texas to support state efforts, challenge Obama’s apathy, and assist in securing the nation’s southern border.

From Fox News:

Free Republic founder Jim Robinson posted this on the popular conservative internet forum on Friday evening.

We have independent units from the Bolinas Border Patrol and the Central Valley Citizens militia joining forces with independent citizens militia units of Texas to defend our southern border in Texas, to protest Obama’s lawless open borders policies and to rally support for Governor Perry to officially call out Guard units and Texas militia units at his disposal to defend the border!! Lawsuits will not cut it. The invasion is happening now. Action must be taken NOW!!

Lawsuits have indeed been threatened, and more will no doubt come as this president and his administration continue to ignore their duty, trample on the rights of Americans, and flout both the law and the Constitution.

Under the guise of humanitarianism, Obama is cynically using the hopes of tens of thousands of immigrants for his own personal gain, despite the dire consequences for them and for his own citizens.

Closing the border with civilian militia may not be the optimal manner in which to address the growing border crisis. But it certainly tops the alternative which, from the Washington Obamacrats, appears to be nothing.

Please share this article on Facebook and Twitter if you support civilian efforts to close the border in lieu of federal action.

While I support this and more 110%, this is exactly what the government wants, a showdown.

So be it. I don't think it will be the "Machete" type the proglodytes think it would be.

Obama is a pr***.

Probably. But he is effectual in doing what he was placed in the Presidency to do. That cannot be said of the Republicans in the Senate.

One more body out there is NOT going to make a difference. But he has a website that CAN be used to organize people to resist this invasion. Where is the special border volunteer thread? What about a protest thread for people to head off the Bus caravans? This would be a great site to organize more Murrieta style protests. You can find where they`re planning to send them here https://www.numbersusa.com/news/not-my-backyard-feds-efforts-relocate-illegal-aliens-border

Maybe this is really what government wants but when they get it they might lose the resulting civil war. King Obama just might see the inside of a 6 by 6 hard jail cell. Hope they come that small.

Our founding fathers did not seek war, but they realized that ultimately that was the only way to stop the tyranny. I don’t think that King George thought his own subjects would turn against him the way they did. Our current government is pushing its citizens to that brink. I think we should be prepared that the coming months may bring things that I honestly never thought I would see. Keep your powder dry, folks.

I think the left is just salivating at the chance for martial law to be declared.

Should we have a continuous thread here for posting photos of encounters?

That way we can have more eyes able to keep such photos (read: EVIDENCE) on multiple hard drives for the historical record.

"this is exactly what the government wants, a showdown. "

Au contraire ... the government backed down from a showdown at the Bundy Ranch earlier this year. The government does not want a showdown. Because if it happens, the gov't will be accused of not enforcing the law while ordinary citizens do. Then the midterm elections will swing even more to the GOP. I'd be surprised if any seat in the House except in the inner city went to the Dems.

Obama was forced into this situation by that a--wipe Mexican congressman (yes, he's Mexican because he doesn't have a patriotic bone in his body) from Chicago, Luis Gutierrez. With help from Holder and Johnson, they created the crisis and then innocently pretended that it happened on its own. Sound familiar? Think Operation Fast and Furious.

They didn't expect that normal Americans would rise up and demand that disease-ridden, filthy, and uneducated "immigrants" be sent home.

As I understand it these people are crossing the border/Rio Grande and turning themselves in.
Once they are on Texas soil what’s the plan.

******

A law that needs to be revisited/changed.

....Under an anti-trafficking statute adopted — with bipartisan support — in 2008,
minors caught traveling without their parents, if they are not from Mexico, cannot be
rapidly deported. Youths from Central America must be transferred within 72 hours
from the Border Patrol to the Department of Health and Human Services, which detains
them in shelters and works to release them to parents or other responsible adults in
the United States....
