ABC did not read The Chicago Tribune’s description of the stats. Their shooting tally page is of events, not victims.

It is important to note that this is not the same data provided by the city about shooting incidents, and the numbers on our page will not match those the city tracks. One shooting incident may have multiple victims, but it still counts officially as only one shooting.

May be Mayor Rahm Emanuel needs to have a “beer summit” with the shooters to discuss the need for better marksmanship. Chicago's and Cook County's gun control is working so well! If not, may be Rahm needs another law...NOT.

Hey , the real problem is white hate crime.

There have been 20 loosely documented white, right wing hate crime killings since 2001.

I wonder - is the odd wounded/killed ration a result of bad aim or good medical care? I do know that in the 70’s and 80’s, they had military doctors training at Cook County Hospital (now Stroger(sp?)).

In peacetime, it was the only good way to gain experience with gunshot wounds.

I know the problem in Chicago. They're looking at all the Whites in the city for
the crimes while the Black 13-year old is standing behind them with blood dripping off a weapon.
