Joe Carr’s 2nd TV ad (also bashes Lamar)
knoxblogs.com ^ | 7/7/14

Posted on 07/07/2014 4:55:29 PM PDT by cotton1706

The script:

Narrator: Washington isn’t listening and neither is Lamar.

Lamar’s record – run against the tea party, voted for bank bailouts and amnesty for illegal aliens.

Lamar Alexander is listening to Washington, not Tennessee conservatives.

There is a conservative who listens – Joe Carr.

Joe Carr is a constitutional conservative.

Joe Carr will eliminate wasteful spending, oppose bailouts and stop amnesty.

Vote Carr not Lamar.

Carr: I’m Joe Carr and I approve this message

The sad part is that Lamar will say all these same things to get elected — he is conservative, he will cut spending, he is against amnesty, etc. And it will be enough for some low information voters who like him and want to believe him.

It’s good to see something about it, other than Lamar’s Huckabee and Gingrich endorsements!

Those guys make me sick, can you believe Newt was the favorite for President around here? I still can’t.

“can you believe Newt was the favorite for President around here?”

I’ll admit I was for him after Palin declined and Cain dropped out. I still enjoy watching his debate clips. But it’s endorsements like this and Scozzafava that made us all nervous. He was never consistent.

It’s a good ad, but can the people of TN understand it?

Yes, those Newtonians still believe that Santorum denied Newton the nomination in 2012.

Now, that’s a good Ad; short, factual and well done.
