Posted on 07/07/2014 6:47:19 PM PDT by equalator
There is still an opportunity for Catholic Church leaders to reverse their mistaken and even cruel position on contraception, joining the modern world and perhaps regaining respect from the laity and the rest of the world. The Little Sisters of the Poor take vows to tend to the needs of the elderly poor.

ON NOW'S DIRTY-100 LIST
I can see why they would be under assault from the regime.
Their ministry runs counter to the mission of the Death Panels.
Nat’l Org of Witches
The world has gone crazy.
“Pay for your own pill” is cruel??
A badge of honor.
Anti Christian fascists can not tolerate anyone who disagrees with them.
Sooner or later there will be another civil war. The gap between good and evil in this country is just too stark and too intransigent. I’m betting the uber-violent left will fire the first shot.
Pickin’ on a bunch of nuns? Typical! NOW is on my “Dirty 100” list.
You notice that the liberals always claim to be the victims of the very people that they themselves are victimizing?
This is a dead giveaway that they know that they are the real oppressor.
The muslims treat their women like cattle, but NOW would never put a muzzie group on their dirty 100 list. They don’t want their offices burned, and their heads chopped off.
Though hordes of devils fill our land
All threatening to devour us,
We tremble not, unmoved we stand;
They cannot overpower us.
Let this world’s tyrant rage;
In battle we’ll engage!
Such might is doomed to fail;
God’s judgment must prevail:
One little word shall fell him!
- Martin Luther
Well, I guess that means WE are on the RIGHT side!!
So the nuns are now the enemy ?! When the nuns are under attack there is certainly a war on women.....
St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen..
It'd be a real shame if people started posting articles that "mistakenly" showed NOW taking the Islamists to task. Yep, I'll bet the coven would be screaming denials to every media outlet.
That’s a good idea. I wish I owned a major media outlet, because none of the current gutless ones would do it.
The National Organization of Women (NOW) has compiled a list of what they're calling the "Dirty 100" organizations who have filed suit against the HHS Contraception Mandate. One of the "Dirty 100" organizations that NOW claims is simply "using religion" to discriminate against women, is, in fact, a group of Catholic religious sisters called the Little Sisters of the Poor.
The Little Sisters of the Poor take vows to tend to the needs of the elderly poor. They are opposed to providing contraception to their employees as contraception violates the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. The Little Sisters of the Poor are not considered to be a "religious employer" and exempt from the mandate as they employ and care for people of all faith backgrounds.
NOW's website also attacks Catholicism for the Church's stance against contraception:
There is still an opportunity for Catholic Church leaders to reverse their mistaken and even cruel position on contraception, joining the modern world and perhaps regaining respect from the laity and the rest of the world.
Nothing quite says a "force for women's rights" like attacking a group of women, am I right?
Here is the list. So proud that the Archdiocese of New York and the Archdiocese of St. Louis made the list.
