EXography: Employment keeps sagging in the Obama recovery
Washington Examiner ^ | July 8, 2014 | David Freddoso

When President Obama took office in 2009, the U.S. economy was in the midst of the Great Recession of 2008. Five and a half years later, that historic swoon remains his excuse for continued economic stagnation.

The July 3 jobs report was a reminder that the economy is at least creating jobs again, albeit at a rate that barely keeps up with population growth.

And national and state unemployment rates have shown improvement since the job market bottomed out in 2010.

Almost all of the “jobs” were part-time and temporary jobs. Very few full time jobs. Then add to it the Labor Participation Rate went up by about 100,000 to something close to 92,110,000.

Then what kind of idiot journalist puts this line into a story?

“The July 3 jobs report was a reminder that the economy is at least creating jobs again, albeit at a rate that barely keeps up with population growth.”

Hmmmn.

280,000 part-time jobs were “created” last month.
300,000 illegal aliens entered the border from Mexico since April.

Net gain to the American people?

Yes, and then there was that article the other day about every job having been created went to “immigrants” over the past number of years.

(NO I don’t have a link, but remember the article.)

But...but...Nancy Pelosi says we’re ‘liberated’ if we don’t work full time! We can pursue our ‘passions’...as long as our ‘passion’ isn’t 3 meals a day and a roof over our heads!
