New CNN Host John Walsh Vows to Continue Piers Morgan's War on the NRA
Breitbart ^ | 7 Jul 2014 | AWR Hawkins

Posted on 07/08/2014 8:51:45 AM PDT by Cheerio

Former America's Most Wanted host John Walsh is hosting a new show on CNN on which he vows to keep the push for gun control and the war on the NRA alive.

According to The Wrap, Walsh said:

I'm the father of a murdered child. I've done nothing but track violence in America since my son was murdered. We have a serious problem with guns in this country... and the NRA solution to arm every grammar-school 80-year-old teacher with a gun is absolutely ludicrous.

He claims the NRA has gotten so big and financially powerful through relationships with gun manufacturers that "they're not a lobbyist on Capitol Hill, they're a gun manufacturer rep."

Walsh's new show, The Hunt, premieres July 13. Walsh says he did not initially realize "how much his gun control efforts would be a part of his new show."

Other then if you are stuck in an airport or a doctor's office, does anyone watch CNN?

I don’t think a gun was involved in his son’s murder. He is... confused.

So we’re supposed to give up our guns and let America be disarmed because he couldn’t take care of his son?

No, and John Walsh is about to find out he isn’t as popular as he thinks once he starts trashing law abiding citizens for daring to own a lawful weapon.

Just another fame whore bites the dust.

He is also about to ruin what good will people had for helping him locate America’s Most Wanted.

I knew he was a creep when he ditched his wife and took up with a young hottie. If you have career/fame and it brings you young hotties, and you only have it because your son is murdered, you might be a creep.

I imagine that Walsh’s vow to continue Piers Morgan’s fight for gun control will make him about as popular as Piers Morgan was. I predict his show won’t last too long.

True Story. In the early 90’s I went with a client to a Washington Restaurant to have breakfast with John Walsh and at his request it was in a private room. He had armed guards with him and they stood at each entrance throughout our meeting.

So much for his problem with the average Joe being armed.

His six year old son was kidnapped, strangled, and decapitated by a homosexual serial killer. No gun was involved.

But guns are safer to be opposed to, than murderous pedophiles.

If you ought to fight against anyone, it’s them. Not the people who supported you and prayed for you.

He claims the NRA has gotten so big and financially powerful through relationships with gun manufacturers that “they’re not a lobbyist on Capitol Hill, they’re a gun manufacturer rep.”

I refuse to believe this. Instead, I believe the NRA is made up of basically conservative people, many with military or law enforcement backgrounds, who have studied history and know that freedom depends on this individual right. Walsh appears to be someone who benefitted from a tragedy, became rich beyond his initial capabilities, traded up to a trophy wife, and now, surrounded by his affluence and protectors, claims the rest of us have no right to protect ourselves. In other words, he’s got his but the rest of us can’t have it.
