Wendy Davis Losing In Texas Is A Win, Or Something
Townhall.com ^ | 7/7/14 | Matt Vespa

Today on Slate’s feminist XX blog, there was a headline that read: Even if She Loses in Texas, Wendy Davis Is a Win for America. Seriously? So, a Texas State Senator, who filibustered a bill that would ban abortions twenty-weeks into a pregnancy last summer, is a “win for America?” Jessica Grose, who wrote the article, added:

Now, for all the support Davis’ campaign has received from fellow Democrats in Washington and elsewhere—former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm called her “Joan of Arc, standing up there for women all across the country”—she’s still running for governor of a deeply red state. That means that the issue that made her a national star—abortion—is one she can’t really touch back at home. As NPR’s Wade Goodwin explains, “Her claim to fame is her filibuster against abortion restrictions, but in 2014, most Texas voters favor such legislation. So the candidate has mostly avoided talking about her signature issue.” On Sunday, the New York Times published a big article outlining Davis’ campaign missteps. Initial poll numbers don’t look good. But whether she wins in Texas is somewhat beside the point, at least as far as her status as a national icon is concerned. As we head down the long road to the 2016 elections, Wendy Davis’ campaign serves as proof that a lot of people across the country can get fired up about women’s health and that hashtag activism can have concrete results.

Well, it isn’t just voters from Texas who support the ban on abortions twenty-weeks into a pregnancy. It’s pretty much everyone. In fact, a Washington Post/ABC News poll found that 60% of women support the ban. Quinnipiac’s poll had the same result.

Joan of Arc? Really?

can we burn her at the stake so she will really resemble her hero?

So give her a participation trophy and pretend that they didn’t really count the votes or “keep score.” Whatever make the complete meltdown, 20pt+ loss feel easier to swallow. And by swallow, I mean, EMBRACE THE SUCK.”

Abortion Barbie Davis was always going to lose. Everyone, including Abortion Barbie, has always known she is going to lose. If you are going to lose, it is best to lose big.

Abortion Barbie knew that she could not win re-election to her state senate seat. If she ran a losing campaign for re-election to the state senate, she would have become just another political has been. By running a losing campaign for governor, she will become a liberal icon and be able to rake in the big bucks on the liberal speaking circuit, like Sandra “the slut” Fluke and Hitlary.

“hashtag activism can have concrete results.”

What concrete results is this person talking about? The bill was delayed for something like a week, then passed in a new session. Is she writing about the campaign itself, because it’s been an unmitigated disaster from attacking a disabled man to Wendy being exposed as a gold digger.
Perhaps she means the protests at the capital. Where baby killers engaged in perhaps the biggest PR backfire in recent memory, where they were recorded yelling “hail Satan!”, holding signs that said ‘f*** the church’, and trying to throw human feces at lawmakers.

Yes, these are the concrete results! Hahahaha. With each passing years, abortion advocates become more radical and insane. NOW has the Little Sisters of the Poor as one of their ‘dirty hundred’, in a pretty disgusting PR move. The pro-abort members of the court were reduced to undignified whining a few days ago when Wheaton College was granted a stay. The Wise Latina beclowned herself!

Don’t let the theatrics distract you though. We need to keep up the pressure to shut down ALL baby killer mills across the country through whatever means necessary. I think we now have 2 states where there is but a single abortion clinic. We must demolish the infant murder industry.

Heard her on the radio babbling on about how Greg was on the take from chemical companies because he supports not making the contents of certain chemical warehouses public info.

Greg wants to restrict the info to the local Fire Departments to reduce risk from bad guys taking advantage of the materials stored there.

Wendy, of course, sees this as a notorious plot by Greg to obtain tens of thousands of dollars in “hush money” from the evil “big chemical” companies or some such liberal fantasy regarding “right wing” Gregg Abbott.

She sounded pathetic, actually.

“Wendy Davis was a looser before she even started.”
Why do these women feel proud about killing their baby?

She is a win for America if she loses? Yes, true, because she’ll be away from a political positions that’ll ruin America!

Because the bubble they live in praises their actions. It’s interesting the women who demand abortion’s are the product of a live birth their mother’s chose to have.

The ‘RATS’ newest rising star is a baby killer. That’s pretty cool for the party of death. They all should be proud.
