Updated: Israeli troops Wednesday night killed at least four Palestinian naval commandos attempting to enter Kibbutz Zikim alongside Gaza, in what appears to be a repeat of Tuesday’s near-identical attempted infiltration.
“A short time ago, two armed frogmen were spotted on the shoreline north of the Gaza Strip, headed for Israeli territory,” the Israel Defense Forces Spokesman said in a Tweet.
IDF spotters identified the assault, and troops, including helicopter forces engaged the squad as they tried to reach the shore. Palestinians fired mortars in the vicinity, again, as in Tuesday’s thwarted attack, apparently as a ploy to create a diversion for the approaching commandos. IDF units killed a second set of terrorists, according to an unconfirmed report on Army radio.
There are conflicting developing reports of a firefight with a fifth terrorist.
There are no reports of injury to Israeli forces. Police and other security forces have locked down the vicinity, and have requested residents to remain indoors.

I shudder to think what these “commandos” mission was. They were heading towards a farming commune. I mean were they just planning on killing everyone they saw?
I don’t know why they are called commandos. That implies trained national soldiers with missions, not murder of civilians.
Video is always appreciated (and at the source). It’s also a deterrent to the “next” batch. A previous group of 5 was relieved of their mortal coil just a day or so ago — on the same beach I believe. That was videoed too, but word hasn’t gotten around yet.
Muslims tend not to be the smartest population, due to 1,400 years of first cousin incest. Then, in addition to the problem of having to retrain Muslim ‘FrogMen wanna-be’s’ after every break, when one has trained them, they start “feelin’ froggy’, decide to attack the Jews, and get killed.

The IDF is literally blowing them to pieces, making it hard for the Islamists to have a proper islamic burial. They will miss out on the 72 virgins.

In an Israeli Kibbutz, everyone over the age of 18 has an automatic rifle. This was a suicide mission. They just achieved shahid early.

Reminds of an episode of the History Channel Dogfights series about the Battle off of Samar. The fire control officer on the Johnston recalled the Battle of Kwajelein, where he was providing fire support for the Marines on the beach. Looking through binoculars, he saw a Japanese officer standing up over the lip of a trench, waving his sword and encouraging his men into battle. The naval fire control officer let him have a broadside from all five 5” guns. The captain made a remark about the economical use of ammunition, but no Japs popped up over that trench, at least for a while.

Hamas launched dozens of rockets at Israel over the Sabbath, striking the Judea region south of Jerusalem for the first time - but in areas under Palestinian Authority control. Arabs in Hevron gathered to celebrate the rocket attacks on their Jewish neighbors but instead faced a rocket strike on Hevron itself.
A salvo was launched at the Jerusalem area in the early evening Saturday, and one rocket exploded in the yard of a home in Arab-controlled Hevron. Another rocket struck Bethlehem, also under PA control, and a third hit near Efrat, not far from Bethlehem.
I had to chuckle at that one! The irony of it :-P
