Skip to comments.Beck Doubles Down: 'Conservatives Only Look Like They Just Want Judgment' (Beck talks nonsense!)
Posted on 07/09/2014 1:21:36 PM PDT by cotton1706
Talk radio host Glenn Beck defended his decision to bring meals, soccer balls, and teddy bears to illegal immigrants detained on the southern border during his radio show on Wednesday.
Beck said conservatives only look like they just want judgment, and the liberals only look at it as mercy. You cannot you cannot have a rule of law if it is nothing but mercy you cannot have justice without mercy.
He also stated that all of us have been involved in creating the crisis on the southern border, for electing pro-open borders candidates, arguing we put them into Congress, we put them into the Senate and we put them in as the president we have done it for forty years.

This is a mindless jumble of words that he thinks makes him sound smart.
How much wood could a Woodchuck chuck.....
Mercy is only a consideration AFTER justice is served.
In the case of illegals, NO MERCY. Chuck em back across the border with a lunch bag and a canteen.
Tax money should be spent on Americans in real need, not illegal invaders.
Care for the children under 10 by all means, deport those who are older immediatly by all means, but after you take immediate care of the under 10 crowd send them back too.
I liked Beck better when he was a drunk.
Maybe he should start drinking again.
Is it the adhd meds talking or is he bi-polar???
Maybe Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs got to him, I dunno.
Is this some kind of Mormon speak? And I am certainly not a Mormon basher. Or is he just on his high as a major manic-depressive? Or is he just incoherent?
I think we have to accept the possibility that Beck is back on the sauce. :-)
>> Maybe he should start drinking again.
Maybe he DID.
Coming soon to an arena near you: Glenn Beck’s “Justice & Mercy Tour 2014”. Tickets can be purchased on Beck’s website.
I think he’s just a full of himself idiot.
This may be the simplest explanation.
I’m sure he’d call himself a “compassionate conservative.”
More mindless drivel from Beck.
Conservatives simply want the laws enforced. The very laws that were written with all due consideration to justice and mercy. Our laws are perfectly fine. The problem is that enforcers won’t uphold the laws. Why should we make more laws just to have them broken??
Those promoting this breaking of the laws of this nation, expect many to demand MORE laws which leads to tyranny.
He’s a wannabe cult leader.
I trepidation tuned in today. He was monotonously going on about this not being a -——thing that it was al about—— and this audience is ...bla bla
When he started crying I turned it off with an audible click
Why do I think he won’t beat Brian Wilson’s “Love and Mercy” tour any time too soon.
you nailed it, and part of that is his burning desire to be seen as above, or different from, “other conservatives.” His sheep fall for it too. baaaaa
“When he started crying I turned it off with an audible click”
Hahaha. Are you serious??
Beck is a dumbass who is always trying to sound smart.
This has nothing to do with ‘judgement’. Beck is a LUNATIC! I specifically DO NOT want these people put before a judge. I just want them deported back to their country of origin. And what will he say when some Islamonazi sneaks across and bombs a major city? What about the parasites both human and non-human?
The conditions in Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras do NOT entitle someone to refugee status. If this is the low bar for what it means to be a refugee then residents of Chicago should seek asylum in Norway! Glenn, like so many megachurch frauds, is trying to use the good consciences of (some of) the American people to undermine the law. This is wrong, and it should be unilaterally rejected by those who love America.
Along with a lifetime supply of Ovaltine
“Talk radio host Glenn Beck defended his decision to bring meals, soccer balls, and teddy bears to illegal immigrants “
What about buying food for all of the kids of AMERICANS that can barely afford to put food on the table?
I guess he wasn’t all that worried how Jesus would look at him there.
If Glen wants to spend his money helping these people, that is what charity is all about, spending your money on things you think are charitable...so more power to him.
However, for him to try and tell me or shame me and conservatives into sending my money to support these coerced, law-breaking, illegal aliens is something all together different and WRONG!
If this were the American Revolution, Beck would be screaming that we must care for these poor British soldiers, so far from home and away from their families.
I would have no more supported THOSE invaders than these! Oh sure, I might have ensured they had fresh straw in my barn; because I would have locked the doors and burned the damn thing down with them all inside!
Medical care, yes. Food and water, yes. A home? A lawyer? Freedom to wonder around America, with their word (the word of a known law-breaker) that they will return for a hearing where they may be deported, no, No, NO - HELL NO!!
Send them HOME!
Beck is a part of the most devout, Mormon elite, a temple Mormon, which means that he is a part of the secretive inner workings of the religion.
I think we can look for clues in predicting new changes with the religion’s positions and leanings, from Beck.
It’s time to stop worrying how we “look” and enforce the Constitution.
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
A mind.... such a terrible thing to waste.
Beck has lost his and gone to the dark side... So long Glen dont write
Oh ansell! Almost as bad as those dastardly papists!
I don’t know what that means, I assumed you knew what a Temple Mormon is and Glenn Becks status as a Temple Mormon since you speculated that he may be expressing a Mormon view.
are we really to believe that these kids & families crossing the border and being held in these government camps are starving? or is Glenn talking about pulling up to the Rio Grande with a trailer and saying come and get it? Yeah that will work out well.
no one wants to see a kid starving, but is that happening? I’m guessing it’s not, or it would be plastered on the TV 24 hours a day.
and these kids and families should have no time for soccer or anything else, unless they play in the aisle of the airplane on the way back home.
this crap Beck pulls as if he is the only one who cares has become just ridiculous and his pacifist dreck grouping MLK, GHANDI and JESUS together just tops it off ...think about that for second ...he constantly equates MLK and GHANDI to Jesus....yeah, ok whatever ..
Bwahaha...conservatives can be so silly at times...
Just earlier today Rush Limbaugh was bemoaning the fact that there hasn’t been a telethon yet for these kids. He was bemoaning the fact that all of these shenanigans are being kept secret!
Where is the Telethon for the Children?

I say we should bite the bullet on this and support Beck on this one. Think of the political face this could put on the situation!!!
Man oh man...trucks and trucks of supplies show up and get turned down at the entrances! 0bama asking for billions of $$$ from Congress...the regime thumbing their noses at the charity of its own citizens...how freakin’ draconian!
*Its just another way of considering things.
my guess is that someone showed him the registered user numbers tanking - probably why he’s in tears today.
Tomorrow’s numbers will be worse...until some of his investors have a sit down with him.
Sigh... and I had such high hopes for him. the best thing he can do for his network is stay off of it for a while.
I thought a temple Mormon is one who tithes, answers the stake president’s questions right, and gets his temple recommend pass.
Not pro-Mormon by any stretch but I wouldn’t blame Glenn Beck’s kumbaya inclusive nuttiness on the LDS church.
Wonder what the apostles in Salt Lake City think about the growing Rick Warren-fueled craze about “Chrislam”?
When Beck is crying, does that mean he’s on the wagon or off the wagon?
No, I was asking if this was some Mormon thing - I don’t know anything about Mormonism (but I refuse to bash them). You haven’t explained how this is a Mormon point of view if you even think this is some Mormon point of view.
Personally, I have always thought Beck was crazy.
Sort of like when a tree falls in a forest, is Beck crying? You know he is!
Oh, gosh! I don’t remember exactly this character but it is that genius comedian Damon Wayans to the rescue! What a funny man.
Good for him.
If I invite someone to dinner at my house, and when he shows up, I grab him and throw him in the street, then I’m probably a bad person.
Now, if some guy comes to my house uninvited and walks in and grabs some money and my car keys, then I’ve got every right to toss his donkey back out into the street.
Worse, some guy comes to Beck’s house, and he gives him a peanut butter sandwich, and they both walk into my house uninvited and grab some cash and my car keys, then I’m supposed to praise Beck? Baloney.
Ten years ago, my tender-hearted wife talked me into feeding a stray cat.
He’s still waking me up in the middle of the night to feed him. Except now he’s inside.
The elites and their ceremonies in the Temples are also secret, and regular Mormons who do not comply with the mandatory 10% minimum of income, are forbidden to worship in or to enter the Temples.
I merely speculated about something that I think is relevant, are there clues to changing Mormon positions and political engagement, revealed in Beck’s changes. Glenn Beck does not operate totally free of Mormon control, Mormonism doesn’t operate that way, in Mormonism they can pull his ID, or refuse to renew it, an ID that is required to be reissued annually.
If Beck or any Temple Mormon is thrown back into the ranks, then they cannot become a God.
Let’s all chip in and buy them tickets home to be with their families.
IIRC the Mormon church is very iffy about illegals.
Glenn Beck not only pushes gold, but stocking up a year’s worth of food which is a fundamental Mormon teaching.
I wonder if Glenn now believes that Jesus is the brother of Lucifer. And that a tribe of `white & delightsome’ Hebrews came to North America from across the Pacific Ocean, but were later exterminated by dark skinned Jewish Indians who left not a single archelogical trace.
