If the federal government won’t do it’s job Perry ought to deport them himself. These immigrants will cost millions to texas taxpayers, and the federal government has no constitutional right to force that burden onto a state.
So will he do it, or is he just too cowardly?
Why not call up the Texas National Guard to enforce the border which they can do during emergencies within the state.
"Look...Look...He wrote 'This must stop Mr. President...BWA HA HA HA HA HA!"
Dear Mr. President:
F.U. Stronger letter to follow.
We the People
Governor Perry should issue an order to all welfare type agencies that everyone who applies must be required to prove their citizenship. If they can’t prove it then they get no assistance.
He should also order the arrest and deportation from Texas all federal agents who are not doing their job of enforcement.
Call the National Guard to seal the border and send the bill to the White House.
I hope Gov Perry shoves this 2 year old letter in that pile of crap, odumbo’s face
Ever since a Federal Marshal was sent to arrest a Governor, if he did not stand aside a few years back, they have been pretty docile. I knew on that day the Constitution was pretty much irrelevant.
Yes. That makes so much sense - like day one.
Gov Perry Nor ANY governor can deport or force people out of a state into another country.
Those illegals are NOT under the jurisdiction of a state but rather the federal government.
Please! You need to learn facts because you make silly statements like that.
George Wallace. It was the wrong issue which is why it went unchallenged, but never the less established that the President could order the arrest of a Governor, of a Sovereign State.
Gee I wonder how Oklahoma got away with that, you better call Obozo and tell him.
I hope it wasn’t written in Cursive.
I hope it was.
Perry is such a phony on the immigration/border issue, so it is hard to take him seriously. It is ALL posturing.
‘Why not call up the Texas National Guard to enforce the border which they can do during emergencies within the state.”
A Gov can call the NG to defend state borders but can’t call the NG to defend a national border which is what the southern border is.
? Oklahoma deported people to another country?
please tell me when
