If the federal government won’t do it’s job Perry ought to deport them himself. These immigrants will cost millions to texas taxpayers, and the federal government has no constitutional right to force that burden onto a state.
So will he do it, or is he just too cowardly?
Why not call up the Texas National Guard to enforce the border which they can do during emergencies within the state.

Governor Perry should issue an order to all welfare type agencies that everyone who applies must be required to prove their citizenship. If they can’t prove it then they get no assistance.
He should also order the arrest and deportation from Texas all federal agents who are not doing their job of enforcement.
Call the National Guard to seal the border and send the bill to the White House.

Ever since a Federal Marshal was sent to arrest a Governor, if he did not stand aside a few years back, they have been pretty docile. I knew on that day the Constitution was pretty much irrelevant.

Those illegals are NOT under the jurisdiction of a state but rather the federal government.

A Gov can call the NG to defend state borders but can’t call the NG to defend a national border which is what the southern border is.
