Americans of All Parties Agree: Sarah Palin Should Go Away
Boston Globe ^ | July 9, 2014 | By Eric Levenson

Posted on 07/09/2014 2:52:30 PM PDT by Oldeconomybuyer

Dislike of Sarah Palin’s constant media presence is a remarkably non-partisan affair, as more than half of registered voters wish she’d be quiet according to a new poll.

54 percent of people surveyed said they wished to hear less from Palin, the poll from The Wall Street Journal/NBC News/Annenberg found. That position was favored by two-thirds of Democrats, a majority of independents, and, most notably – four in 10 Republicans. That’s a sizable group of people from the party that, just a few years ago, supported her nomination for vice president. In this time of increasing political polarization, Americans can agree on one thing: Sarah Palin should just go away.

Palin doesn’t need to say or do anything. Just the thought of her name makes their eyes bleed.

This would be a good time for her to disappear and go silent for 30 days, just to mess with them.

Let's see: she loves America, loves freedom, and hates big government.

Hmmm. I wonder how many in that poll want to see big government go away. (BTW, freedom and government are direct opposites: the more government, the less freedom and visa versa)

Seems to me this is a fight for freedom. Those who hate big socialist government versus those who love and benefit from big socialist government.

"Popularity" is as fickle as the time between the "Hosannas" on Palm Sunday and the "Crucify Him" five days later. Who cares about fickle popularity except the fickle MSM and the fickle Left?

Do what's right and stand up for what's right (freedom and small government) and let the chips fall where they may.

"Constant media presence"?

If I didn't come here everyday, I could go for months without hearing anything about her at all.

Note, this was posted in the News section not Opinion.

Of course, it's opinion, but it may not actually be in the printed paper. A lot of what you find online is just some blogger spouting off (nowadays, though, more people may be reading the bloggers than the actual paper paper).

We’ve had to endure Jimmy Carter’s comments for close to 40 years, but he won’t go away! At least Sarah Palin is brutally honest and darn near prophetic when she speaks. Americans need to hear what she says, because it may save us. Particularly the part about impeaching Obama.

I live in Communist Massachusetts and I know the Boston Bolshevik Globe. This is an extremely Liberal rag that wears its neo Communist opinions on its sleeve. They have always distorted things to the Leftwing side since I can remember. Their token Conservative, Jeff Jacoby (I met him -- nice man), was kicked out of the Globe for a time so there would be no dissenting voices against the Democrat in the Presidential election.

There is a simple barometer that measures just how effective one is in attacking the strongly held beliefs of the intellectual and institutional Left in this country - listen for their cries and complaints. The one that yelps is the one that was hit by the flung stone.

Sarah’s aim is both accurate and deadly, and it has had a telling effect in smoking out these specious arguments and phony postures. Americans of “all parties” are by no means all Americans, as the two major parties have some pretty broad divergence of opinion on a number of different issues. One party is much less divergent than the other, to be sure, but even within the ranks of Democrats, there are still some social and fiscal conservatives. They are vastly outnumbered by the radical elements.

Within the Republican party, there is a much wider divergence, but the radical elements are much smaller in number. Most of the more fiercely individualistic and self-reliant persons are only Republican in passing, considering themselves to the “conservative” or “libertarian” first, and only incidentally and sometimes allies of the greater Republican party. There is another element within the Republicans, which may be best considered to be “fifth columnists” who much prefer to pull the Democrat lever once in the secrecy of the voting booth, but they make a great display of getting enrolled as “Republicans”. They may even be dues payers, but trust in it, they are there to actively sabotage any Republican strategies that may lead to decisive victory over the Democrats, and most particularly when the Democrats are dead wrong.

As Democrats often are, about finances, about human relationships, about religious principles, and about civil conduct.

Or just about the simple concept of playing while giving all sides an even break, and let the free market decide. They always have to be giving “handicaps” to those projects they do not agree with, or “head starts” to those which they consider their “special projects”.

Prejudice and favoritism are two sides of the same coin. And it is counterfeit, no matter who wants to spend it.

Yeah, Dems and the GOP-E (the statists/cronyists cabal) sure don’t want to hear from her. Because she shines a light on them, revealing them the cockroaches they are.

She’s like a vibrant echo from America’s past, representing the unhampered, un-PC, common-sense conservatism that used to define everyday, hard-working Americans. Practically the only voice doing so. And as such, one of the only figures left in the country who comes close to speaking for me, in this modern, decaying America that continues its descent into madness.

Consider the source. C’mon, the Boston Globe thinks they have any objectivity or credibility, that’s insanity.

Personally, I thought today, hearing her on the Hannity radio show, just how seasoned she is now. I really appreciated her perspective. She’s got a pretty good grasp on the truth, in most arenas.

Take heart. I got a copy the other day from my father-in-law (for using with vinegar to clean my car’s windows) and I was heartened to see just how thin and insubstantial the rag is.

Love it.

Granted, I wish I had a dead fish to wrap in it to complete the experience, but it was nice to know it wasn’t even of good enough quality and quantity to effectively perform a job like cleaning windows.

It WILL die. I couldn’t be happier.

They are trying to make Sarah look inconsequential, especially after the impeachment call. They are all publishing articles that Americans of all political sides don't want to hear from her.

The problem is that the more they all do it, the more her visibility is raised, and people listening to what she has to say.
