Six killed, including four children, in Houston-area shooting: police

(Reuters) - At least six people were shot to death, including four children, in the Houston suburb of Spring, Texas, on Wednesday, with the suspected gunmen in a standoff with dozens of police after going on a slow-speed chase through residential neighborhoods.

Houston media reports said the incident resulted from a domestic dispute in a normally quiet area of detached houses with tree-lined streets in Spring, about 25 miles (40 km) north of Houston.

The guy held a gun to his head but was too chickenshit to kill himself. He was only brave enough to kill a woman and a bunch of children. This is one case where a cop killing would not have pissed me off.

Any person who is hiding from a former abuser or has a restraining order against the abuser should keep a loaded weapon near by them a all times.

It's open season now and these murder sprees will continue because of the obama/holder cabal. The confiscation of guns from the good guys (and gals) is part of the plan. Had the wife been armed, much like Patriot Holly Fisher, none of this would have transpired. She may not have been a Texan because everyone I know carries. Tonight was the weekly Wednesday services at my church and we all carry our guns into the auditorum, including the preacher. Woe unto the criminal trying to make off with the collection plate! (We do have a cemetery nearby so he can be plugged and planted in an expeditious manner).

Actually the ex-wife was not among those killed. She is not in the city. Reportedly kids were staying with in-laws and he killed them and the in-laws. Adult female in-law was critical after being shot in the head but was able to give police the guys name, information on the car he was driving and the address where he was going next to kill some more.

Rather sparse details on the news tonight. Not yet released is the identity of the children, some may have been shooter’s, others may have belonged to in-laws. One reporter estimated there were over 100 police cars involved in the incident.

I’m getting sick of this uban dweller crap. Crime happens everywhere. My family came from a small SC town and I assure you that the sherrif was busy every Saturday night and city folks had nothing to do with it.
