Obama 'Happy to Consider' Deploying National Guard to Border
Breitbart ^ | 7/9/14 | Tony Lee

Posted on 07/09/2014 9:13:53 PM PDT by Nachum

On Wednesday, President Barack said that he was "happy to consider" deploying National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border to help local law enforcement officials stem the tide of illegal immigrant children flooding across it.

After meeting with Texas Governor Rick Perry in Dallas, Texas, Obama said sending National Guard troops, though, would be a "temporary solution."

Obama said if Republicans wanted some National Guard troops to be sent to the border as a condition for approving the $3.7 billion in funding Obama requested, he "would be happy to consider it."

There’s continuing disinformation that it’s the ‘open border’ or people secretly crossing that’s the problem.

The problem is community activists have gone to central America (non-continuous countries) and stirred up the population there telling them to BE FOUND. Just go to a border agent and tell them, “I’m fleeing the cartel, drug violence, sex abuse” and U.S. law requires them to have a hearing.

If there’s a hearing, they are brought in and very few actually show up for any hearing ever.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the drug cartels we are siding with in Mexico (google it) are helping assist moving the human cargo north.

He’ll pocket the money, consider the request, and: “Denied (unless they’re going to babysit, change diapers and wash bottles.)”
The House would impeach this bass-turd if any one of them had a single hair on his a**, but they’re as worthless as teats on a boar.

This government gives Gramma a rectal exam at the airport but then turns a blind eye when people are flooding across the border.

“Obama ‘Happy to Consider’ Deploying National Guard to Border”

I thought it was a governor’s prerogative to deploy National Guard troops.

Let me ask because I do not know. Aren’t the National Guard under each state’s governors and not the president?

$3.7 billion? It won’t cost that much to send them all back.

U.S. Const. art. IV, § 4 mandates the Federal government protect states against Invasion. The Federal government has not performed.

U.S. Const. art. I, § 10 No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.

U.S. Const. amend. X The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

All States retain the right to self defense. The Federal government has refused to provide for the common defense, the raison d'etre for the Federal government. The States must repel invasion or the people will.

Texas

The Texas Governor has the authority to call forth the state military forces and the reserve militia to repel the invasion.

Tex. Gov. Code Sec. 431.071

Tex. Gov. Code Sec. 431.001

Tex. Const. art. 4, § 7
http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/CN/htm/CN.4.htm#4.7

Arizona

The Arizona Governor has the authority to proclaim an emergency and mobilize all or any part of the state guard or the unorganized militia into service of the state.

Ariz. Const. art. 5, § 3
http://www.azleg.gov/FormatDocument.asp?inDoc=/const/5/3.htm

Ariz. Rev. Stat. § 26-174.
http://www.azleg.state.az.us/FormatDocument.asp?inDoc=/ars/26/00174.htm&Title=26&DocType=ARS

Ariz. Rev. Stat. § 26-122.
http://www.azleg.state.az.us/FormatDocument.asp?inDoc=/ars/26/00122.htm&Title=26&DocType=ARS

Ariz. Rev. Stat. § 26-121.
http://www.azleg.state.az.us/FormatDocument.asp?inDoc=/ars/26/00121.htm&Title=26&DocType=ARS

Ariz. Rev. Stat. § 26-172.
http://www.azleg.state.az.us/FormatDocument.asp?inDoc=/ars/26/00172.htm&Title=26&DocType=ARS

N.B. Unlike Arizona SB-1070, these do not pertain to immigration but to a proclamation of an emergency and the protection of lives or property.

There is no reason for Governors to stand by idly when the law supports States 100% and the Federals violate law.

It is. Governors control the state national guards UNLESS... the pres steps in.

Then they are ‘federalized.’

This threat was made to some southern governors during the Civil Rights era.

Yep. Perry should have said “Either you call out the guard. Or I do.” Perry is a fraud. He should stand up in his cowboy boots and act like a man.

Arrogant yes but also showing his Achilles heel, money. He actually sat with someone to try and bully his way to money. The House has never had a better chance to stop this tyrant than if they cut him off, period.

EXTORTION is the only word used to describe Hussein Obama’s actions.

Congress should tell him NO! He will not force them to go home if he gets his $3.7 billion. Approve about $20 million to round them all up and send them home.
