Rev. Jackson: Obama, Feds Need To Do More To Combat Chicago Violence (Needs $2 billion more)
CBS News ^ | July 9, 2014 | Craig Dellimore

The Rev. Jesse Jackson and Mayor Emanuel are differing on where the fingers should be pointed when it comes to federal anti-violence help, reports WBBM Political Editor Craig Dellimore.

Rev. Jesse Jackson and Mayor Emanuel agree curbing violence involves not just police but economic development and jobs in high crime neighborhoods, but Rev. Jackson seemed to fault President Obama for funding priorities that appear to put immigrant children coming across the borders first.

“If we can find $4 billion for those children, and we should, we can find $2 billion for Chicago,” said Jackson.

Another $2 billion in economic development money and some more gun laws should do it!

“Something needs to be done about our ‘urban’ culture that results in this level of violence - give me... er, US! 2 billion!”

No one ever seems to mention that much of the violence in Chicago stems from turf wars involving Mexican drug cartels.

$2 billion deporting alien criminals and sealing our borders could make a real difference here, but I doubt that’s where the money would go.

You know there comes a time when you have to tell that alcoholic uncle, that wasteful teen, and that spendthrift spouse, “NO!” When they show with their hand out for more.

They’re not using the money for the rent, or food, or even a car payment. They’re using it to support their habit of buying power and votes.

It’s time to no only say “no”, but to say, “HELL NO!”

Looks like Ø is now focusing his transformation on the workings of the executive now. His vision for a new presidency modus of operandi, create a crisis, then demand money be appropriated IMMEDIATELY to deal with it. Time is of essence. I’d add that the third step is to spend that money in ways not intended by Congress, not intended by listening to the original words, but in ways that are possible with the haste to which they get the money.

Give ACORN another $100 million

It won’t help the violence, but they will blame Republicans.

Raining free money and victim ideology on urban centers is what’s creating this violence.

I’d love to see a tally of the billions quietly pumped into Chicago during the Obama reign of error.

The money would go to Jesse Jackson for “community organizing”.

Mayor Guiliani (and Doomberg, for that matter) had a surprisingly effect program. But then,it was *far* too racist for Chicago....and Comrade Di Blasio for that matter.

Local police needs to get tough with these dudes. Arrest/kill the perps when confronted. The ones arrested, if here illegally ship them back. If here legally put them on chain gangs and have them tear down and clear slum land. If they should ever run out of projects in Chicago have them start work on Detroit.

Hey jessee! I can tell you how to stop the violence but you won’t like it.

There are two quotes I've seen attributed to Reverend Love Child.Don't know if he actually said them (or anything like them) but if he did it would be funny:

1) While speaking to a (presumably) black audience he's is supposed to have once said something like "we don't have to fear the KKK,we need to fear the BBB (meaning "big black brother")

2) Again speaking to a (presumably) black audience he is supposed to have once said something like "when I'm walking down a dark, deserted street and hear footsteps behind me I'm relieved if I turn around and see that it's a white guy".

And then there's Chris Rock...who absolutely *did* have some interesting things to say on the subjects of "blacks versus niggaz".It's on youtube....pretty hard hitting coming from a black guy.
