Because of the Founding Fathers’ design of the “Electoral College” and how they intended it to work, multiple parties will not work, as long as that Electoral College is still in play.

Of course - that also may be the reason many are currently - today - trying to DESTROY the Founding Fathers’ system and working of the “Electoral College”.

I live in NC, and I have no intention of voting for Thom Tillis in November - and this is specifically because of what the GOPe did (and continues to do) in Mississippi.

Tellw - jerk since the beginning of time. I find it loathsome that just because a person hasn't been registered for many years, that person is less than you.

The arrogant, smarmy attitude you exhibit is distasteful at best.

You were probably an Alan Keyes supporter for president, in which, during that unfortunate candidacy would go ballistic at someone pointing out the truth.

Din Maker: my apologies on behalf of Tellw, who believes he is superior to you because he has been registered here longer than you. Thanks for posting the information and you are only a messenger. God forbid that we should be aware of what is going on. Perhaps we should just pretend all republican candidates are up by 30 points - then tellw would have sent you a swell message instead.

I’ve said from the beginning, the GOP’s gains in the Senate will be: WVA, MT, SD and possibly Alaska.

Keep in mind that Shelly Capito picking up the WV seat isn't exactly a "win," either. IIRC, she's just another RINO, pro-abortion money-grub.

The GOP-E wants Reid as Majority Leader. Simple as that.

That would make things a lot easier for the GOPe. At least then they could claim they had no choice but to go along with the RATs since they are in charge.

If the GOPe won, they still wouldn’t be able to stand up to Obama and Reid and Pelosi etc anyway. So “what difference, at this point, does it make?”

This is the doing of MSM!!! You people don’t get the power of the MSM and the Low Information voter. That’s our crisis, not so much the GOP.

My the trolls ARE touchy this evening, aren’t they?

Nice RCP regurgitation. Really great sleuthing of the “Internets” to find that information for everyone. And your vanity post...wow!

This is part of the GOPee plan. They do not want to take the Senate because they do not want to lead. They want to suck up the crumbs from Harry Reid's table, get invited to DC parties and golf outings. They want to be anonymous back benchers so the media won't write or say bad things about them. They are clueless, spineless, gutless, and worthless.

Amen!

Hey tellw, seniority has no impact on the correctness of ideas. And in most, if not all cases, it is a left-wing idea.

Are you talking about this Ronald Reagan:

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan

Oh yeah, by all means I want to tie myself to a duplicate of any ordinary dem ass and find the party floating down stream into the cess pool of politics. No longer the ‘battered woman’ The GOP has had papers filed. They get the children and I, the car, the house and the business. Hailey in Mississippi was the last straw. They hit just once too often. How on earth do you win elections with such tactics?

Yeah, Shelley is not the ideal candidate, but she was the only hope we had for a GOP Senate seat. She is not so much an elite, but she is a moderate. We (tea party) believe we can influence her. I know her and she is accessible.
