In a remarkable article, Grand Larceny, Chloe Valdary powerfully reminds the reader that the Palestinian Arabs have succeeded in reversing the true narrative of Eretz Yisrael.1 They have to a great degree succeeded in convincing people around the world that their land was stolen from them by Israel and the Jews.

In fact, no Arabs were forcibly removed from Israel when it became a state. The ones clamoring to get in now are from surrounding countries which won’t even let them back in themselves.
When I was in Jordan two years ago, our guide went on and on about how NO ONE wants the Palestinians in their country, they are terrible wherever they go; Jordan kicked them out as they tried to make war w/them to. They are the problem for sure.
I wouldn’t “go there” with that kind of reasoning, as given in that article. That’s the kind of stuff that can be used against the USA in demanding that it give land back to Mexico and to the Indians for “brutally taking it away” from them ... LOL ...
That’s just the way it was back then in the Roman days and that’s just how the “cookie crumbles” with the Indians and with Mexico, in regards to the USA. That’s the past ... and we’re dealing with TODAY and not making up for every “perceived wrong” in the history of the world.
The narrative for modern day Israel should effectively start with the Zionist Movement, the Balfour Declaration, the First World War, the League of Nations and it’s Palestine Mandate, along with the United Nations 1947 Partition of Palestine (which the Jews wanted and fought for diligently) and finally with the 1948 war. It’s with all these things that the “legitimacy” for Israel comes about ... and not from the Roman days.
....But yet, the article is a very good one though because of what Israel has had to DEAL with for many, many years.

What a great article...thanks for posting it.
Here’s an example of THAT type of thinking!

Mexican aliens seek to retake stolen land
“We reject the occupation of our nation in its northern territories, an important cause of poverty and emigration. We demand that our claim to all the territories occupied by force by the United States be recognized in our Constitution, and we will bravely defend, according to the principle of self-determination to all peoples, the right of the Mexican people to live in the whole of our territory within its historical borders, as they existed and were recognized at the moment of our independence.”
Sioux Indians Want Black Hills Back
When you look at George Washington, who institutionalized giving bounties for scalps of Indian people, and you look at Abraham Lincoln, who on this day he gave the Emancipation Proclamation speech, he also signed a document to basically wipe out the San Tee Sioux. And Teddy Roosevelt, who said, `If America is to realize its manifest destiny to be great, the tribal masses must be crushed,’ it gives you a very different viewpoint of democracy. And for us it’s—it’s a shrine to Indian genocide.

.....Well that is what we are seeing now with the kids from Mexico/Central America.
