I am of another opinion on the Select Committee. While it may have been set up to fail, I doubt Gowdy will be a good little solider. He is a prosecutor's prosecutor and no one's fool.

The WH fears him because of his skill and reputation. What happened in Benghazi will be revealed much to the dismay of the WH. There is no other option for the WH but to present the "truth" for idiot consumption before Gowdy.

This testimony only concerns these 4 soldiers. It has no bearing on the FEST team, air support assets in Italy or the Marine unit which all could have provided support. Not ordering them to go is the same as ordering them to stand down.

The meme that "No one could have got there in time" is also BS. No one had any idea how long the attacks would last, they could have gone on for days. Fighters from Italy could have provided support during the second attack and possibly ended it.
