McDaniel should set a tight time period of discovery. Submit the results to a legal entity and await that verdict. If Cochran is seen to be the winner after this is done, McDaniel needs to move on. This interparty warfare gives the Dem candidate a new advantage of appearing more stable and consistent.

McDaniel is fighting the good fight. His supporters have already revealed in abundance that the Cochran campaign plays dirty.

He deserves our support, so even if the powers in Mississippi make him a martyr, his experiences confronting the corrupt GOP-E will not be forgotten elsewhere.

This is what is wrong with our party - they lay down, give up and move on - to their own detriment. The DEMS NEVER move on - NEVER! I’m sick of our side just letting this corruption continue.

I’m sure what you meant to say was this: Cochran’s people need to follow the law and allow McDaniel’s investigators access to the documents they have intentionally withheld. The sooner the investigation is complete, the sooner the election can proceed. As long as they continue to hide things, no one will be able to conduct a campaign.

But doubt that will happen because Cochran’s people will be going to jail if the truth gets out and CYA takes time. Cochran and his GOPe friends will be happy to give the dem candidate plenty of advantage as long as it keeps them out of jail and the conservative out of office.

Get your drift, but disagree with you. Cochran cannot be allowed to attain reelection for the senate. If the primary election cannot be thrown out, then McDaniel needs to run as a write-in.

To allow Cochran to return to the senate would be demeaning to the entire democratic election process. The GOPe need to be severly punished for their actions in this matter.

The ends sometimes justifies the means, but not in this case. Not by a mile...

Well, DUH!!! I’d say, given what we’ve been through with this GOP Primary, the Dem IS more stable than the Mississippi GOP. You can thank the Cochran/Barbour team for that. The Dems are ecstatic about this race. They feel that they have a shot to take this seat. Look for a lot of Liberal bucks to flow into Childers’ coffers in the fall. He’s already wooing disgruntled McDaniel supporters, reminding them that he is Pro-Life and Pro-2nd Amendment. If Chris is kept off of the ballot, most of his supporters will just skip the Senate race and vote down-ballot. Some will actually vote for Childers.
