I truly do understand your point of view. Years ago, it was mine also. But that was before I became more fully aware that the Republican Party (ignoring its own platform) had become as opposed to Constitutional conservatism (me) as are the Democrat Party controllers.

The powers-that-be have learned how to manipulate elections almost totally when they want to. Exactly how long this fixability has been in place is just a guess for me, an outsider.

Jonrick, Ronald Reagan would be shaking his head at the likes of Limbaugh and you, who believe in your hearts that most Americans are children who "voted for Santa Claus," as Rush whined with such poignant bitterness the day after Obama "won."

Certain things ARE binary, there ARE absolutes, many having to do with, for lack of better word, MATH. Such as the false option of voting "against." Sounds pretty, is entirely imaginary.

Well, if you understand -- as I do -- that Democrats cheat in elections, as evidence of vote fraud and vote manipulation has always tainted the statist, tyrannical left -- then it is a corollary that there are more of "us," we who oppose the Democrat leftism. Maybe not 80 percent, but well over half, enough to make the difference. THAT IS WHY DEMOCRAT LEFTISTS CHEAT. Indeed, so does the tyrannical side of the Republican party, as per Mississippi. They have to cheat because they are the minority.

So either one believes they don't cheat, that Democrats win honestly and Americans (everybody but us) are "idiots who elected these clowns" -- OR you believe the evidence that they cheat because the balance of real Americans represents folks smart enough to reject leftism. Which is it -- the Dems win honestly, or we outnumber them? It is one or the other. Binary.

I personally know the Republican Chair for my county, which has a population equal to New Mexico. She is a dedicated follower of the U.S. Constitution and it is reflected in our platform. I also know the past State Chairman. He is now a member of the board of directors for Young America’s Foundation, the American Conservative Union, the Second Amendment Foundation and Citizens United. The insult to your intelligence occurred inadvertently. I should have phrased my sentence this way: "the National and many State leaders of the Republican Party (ignoring their own platform)..."

Regret you feel our online exchanges were a waste of time; I don't. Yet, there are a couple of posters on FR I do not wish to continue knowing either. So, I respectfully do accept your avoidance of further FR communications with me in the future.

And I hope you and your friends inside the workings of the Republican Party are successful in restoring the Party so that Constitutional conservtives (such as I) feel as at home there as many FReepers did during most of the Reagan years...but not since.
