CHICAGO (WLS) -- The immigration crisis on the U.S.-Mexican border is now playing out in Chicago as hundreds of undocumented children are now in this area.
Some 57,000 undocumented minors have entered the southern US, with reports that as many as 482 youngsters are in the custody of the Federal Department of Health and Human Services in Chicago-area shelters.
"All these children are facing deportation back to countries where they fear harm; we need a fair and orderly adjudication system," said Mary Meg McCarthy, executive director at Heartland Alliance for Human Needs and Human Rights.
On Capitol Hill, lawmakers slugged it out about what to do after President Obama Thursday asked for $3.7 billion in emergency aid to take care of children as young as 8-years-old who are coming to the US, primarily in search of their parents.
"This administration has dealt with this as a humanitarian crisis, they have put the children first they have followed the law; the fact is they need more resources to follow the law," said Rep. Luis Gutierrez.

a birth certificate from their own country..
and for sure ALL of them have records of those FREE shots they get back in Guatemala...
The chillins are fleeing violence in their countries so they are being sent to Chicago.

Chicago’s gangbangers are mainly “kids” too. The word “kids” has a different meaning. It’s intentional disinformation and part of a broader campaign.
But what about those kids who were BORN in Chicago, and who fear harm, because of the thuggery that goes on every single damn DAY in parts of that city? Does the Heartland Alliance also propose to move THEM?

Mexico made deal to send more illegal aliens to the U.S

On Monday, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Guatemalan president Otto Perez Molina held a joint press conference in Playas de Catazaja, Mexico, to officially announce an agreement to make it easier for those making the illegal journey to the United States from Central America, to cross into Mexico.
The Southern Border Program to Improve Passage, will provide for more border checkpoints along Mexico's border with Guatemala, and offer more protection and even emergency medical care to those making their way north.
